L'ERICKSON NORRIS LAKEFRONT HOME si trova nel Deerfield Resort sul Lago Norris ed è uno splendido cedro e vetro, di 5800 piedi quadrati, su un acro completo con molo privato, avvolgenti ponti e suggestive viste panoramiche. Questa casa vacanze splendidamente arredata è decorata con opere d'arte originali dappertutto, offre magnifiche viste sul Lago di Norris da ogni camera, incluso il bagno padronale. I cervi di Whitetail sono spesso visti godersi la terra intorno alla casa. Abbiamo aggiunto $ 100.000 in aggiornamenti nella primavera del 2016.

Le grandi finestre panoramiche sono speciali vetri a doppio vetro ad alta efficienza energetica che resistono al calore e al sole lasciando entrare nella spettacolare vista sul lago. Questo faceva parte del nostro ampio rinnovamento della primavera del 2010 a tutta la casa dentro e fuori. Abbiamo anche appena terminato un altro grande aggiornamento e rinnovamento nella primavera del 2016. (vedi le nostre foto) La casa ha due grandi cucine complete entrambe con nuovi frigoriferi, due sale da pranzo, due comodi salotti ciascuno con i propri televisori ad alta definizione. La zona giorno inferiore ha un tavolo da biliardo regolamentare che gli ospiti apprezzano davvero. La privacy di avere due soggiorni separati consente più scelte per i nostri vacanzieri.

Il Deerfield Resort è una gated community con un meraviglioso campo da golf, tennis, piscina e altre attività. 900 acri di bellissime passeggiate per godere di viste spettacolari. C'è qualcosa per tutti. Abbiamo una camera da letto matrimoniale con vasca idromassaggio doppio lavandino (e splendida vista lago). Ci sono 4 camere da letto matrimoniali (due con bagno privato). C'è una camera da letto aperta di dimensioni standard sul balcone sul soggiorno che ha 2 futon singoli e una tenda per la privacy. Armadio completo, comodino, cassettiera, ecc. Abbiamo scelto di aprire questa camera con vista sul lago a due piani dal basso nel soggiorno. C'è un altro futon gemello situato in un'alcova aperta all'ultimo piano. Ci sono anche due futon in stile europeo per gli adulti nella sala principale inferiore e quattro bagni completi e 2 bagni per gli ospiti.

ERICKSON HOME è perfetta per famiglie e amici in molti modi. Abbiamo costruito questa casa su misura nel 1992 e abbiamo pensato a tutte le funzionalità possibili per i nostri vacanzieri (così come per noi per divertirci con la nostra famiglia). Ci sono due storie di avvolgenti ponti Lakeview, ben arredati con durevoli mobili da ponte e un barbecue a gas. Dal momento che la casa è su un punto e un acro di terra, la vista è semplicemente spettacolare. C'è una zona di varo nel resort e diversi moli dove è possibile noleggiare barche.

The house was ready promptly at 4pm and appeared tidy. It was extremely well stocked, far more than any other house we have ever stayed at. I wish that we would have received the check in email, although outdated, a day or so before so that we would have known how well stocked it was (we could have left a lot of cooking accessories at home). There were some conflicting information between the check in/out procedures in the email & the print outs at the home as well as not updated info on the day of the exterminator visit (that was a surprise!), however the house was beautiful and the beds and couches nice and comfy. A few guests did miss having TVs in the bedrooms, but we didn’t mind much. There were a surprising amount of lightbulbs out that needed replacing, including the entire lower deck. Also the new dock did not have power, but we believe that they were in the process of renovations. The new decking and gazebo area were gorgeous, but we learned quickly that a boat lift is a must for this area of the lake. The extra bumpers provided by the owners were a godsend, but we would not return to a house on such a crowded part of the lake that does not have a lift again due to the sheer wear and tear that the wake from constant boat traffic puts on the docked boat. Other than putting a lift in, I think the owners have done everything possible to secure the dock and make the experience as safe and secure as possible.

Outstanding home and perfect location! Plenty of room for 3 families. The house deck, covered deck along the stairs to the dock, and dock deck were used extensively. The kids(and me) loved jumping in the lake off the dock. With the dock availability, we rented a pontoon boat and everything worked out really well. Owners were VERY accommodating and communicated quickly.

Great lake vacation

We LOVED staying at this house! Every dawn and dusk we enjoyed sitting outside on the deck enjoying the incredible view. The house was spacious and well equipped. It definitely met all of our needs. There are a lot of steps to the dock and some of them steep. The dock is on the main channel in the lake and docking the boat with wakes and current could be a challenge.

Wonderful Lakehouse Stay!

We are usually a beach vacation family, but this lake vacation exceeded our expectations! Greg and Kenlyn were very gracious VRBO hosts, the home was very spacious for our two families, and the location was wonderful. We rented a pontoon and jet skis from the nearby marina which the young and older adults loved and the lake was just absolutely beautiful. The sunsets from the home were breathtaking. Everyone agreed we will be back.

Thanksgiving Holiday

The house is very nice and spacious . Weather cool but kids enjoyed playing pool and fishing from dock. Kitchen appliances and dishes worked well, made amazing meals. Everyone comfortable and slept well. Made lifetime family memories!

Beautiful home w terrific lake view

This house has beautiful views of Norris lake looking West towards Shanghai Marina. With 2 balconies, there plenty of space for kids and adults to enjoy. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood (Deerfield Resort) which is very well maintained. If you’re pulling a boat, be aware of hilly and narrow roads. The driveway is a little steep but has room for 4 vehicles. If you plan on docking your boat at the house, recommend bringing extra fenders and lines as busy weekend boat traffic will rock the boat significantly. The house is very well equipped - we had a great time! Thanks!!

ANNUAL AUGUST NORRIS VACA

Greg was awesome to deal with. Very helpful with any questions that we had before getting to the property. The house was beautiful, and we had plenty of room for all 12 of us. The bottom floor (apartment) was great for the younger adults as they had their own hang out area and kitchen. The only negative, which Greg did tell us about, but we didn't heed his warning...since the property is located on the tip of the peninsula and is in a great location with several marinas and the jumping bridge very close, the boat traffic is INSANE which means the dock is constantly moving A LOT. We had a boat and 2 jet skis with us, and at some points in time, the boat was rocking so hard that we thought it was coming out of the water (no exaggeration there) and the jet skis took on a bit of damage even though we brought the dock protection/pads for them. The other boaters in the lake run their boats extremely close to the dock with no regards of the large wake they cause. But again, Greg told us about that, and we just didn't realize how rough it would be. But we all had an awesome time and stayed on the dock all day, you just learned to roll with it's motion. I would recommend to any family needing an awesome house and host.

Great home for extended family

We had 15 of us, and this home is so spacious, and accommodating for large groups, that we were comfortable all week. It was very clean, and had everything we needed including 2 kitchens, 2 coffee maker and a Keurig - plenty of other appliances, plates, etc. If you are looking for a large place this is it - Oh yes, and the view is spectacular.

The house is very nice and spacious. Plenty of room to spread out for our large group (10 adults, 4 children and 1 infant). Well stocked upper kitchen. The view from every bedroom and all decks is spectacular! However, basement area had a strange odor and little centipedes. We also found small ants in upper kitchen. Dock is fairly rocky from all boat activity on lake. We still swam off it, but some in our group did get “seasick”. Less rocky in morning and evening. Overall, would recommend but feel the basement odor and bug issues should be addressed especially for how expensive a week’s stay is.

We had a great time! House is huge and very well laid out. ..plenty of space for everyone even if you wanted your own space. Plenty of liens and honestly, the very best stocked kitchen in any rental I have ever been in! A++ for that!!! Washers and dryers worked great as well. Highly recommend this house.

Annual Family Vacay

Going to different places each summer with our blended family of 13 led us to this property for the summer of 2023. My brother's family also came, so there were 17 of us in all. The house was very spacious and accommodated us very well with the children being able to have futons to sleep on. The two kitchens were a big bonus. We enjoyed the lake with the beautiful view, the park, and the pickle ball courts where we learned that my husband and I enjoy pickle ball and plan to become a force to be reckoned with when we play back home in Ohio:)

Thanksgiving vacation ‘22

We stayed in the lake house with a couple families for a 3 day holiday weekend. When we first arrived we discovered a water leak and we’re able to get in touch with the host. It was late at night and we were able to avoid the immediate area of the leak and the host sent a person to repair the property the next morning. Other than that the property was very accommodating for the 13 people who stayed there with us. The view is amazing, the place was very big and easy to spend time with the family or get some alone time if needed. The beds were great the 2 kitchens were fantastic since we cooked Thanksgiving dinner there. Plenty of bathrooms for a large gathering. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Great Home on Norris

We had a lovely time staying at the Erickson House! Greg the homeowner was really easy to communicate with leading up to our arrival. The house was and clean and spacious accommodating 3 families with kids. Kitchen was stocked and had everything we needed to make meals at home. Would definitely recommend!

Erickson House

The house and property were fantastic, and we all like theDeerfield location very much. However, the lake was at its summertime high, and the dock/ ramp moved way to much to utilize as much as we wanted. The dock moved, with the water, and broke the gas cap off rented jet ski. Other than that we had a terrific vacation.
