Live Love Lake' summarizes it all

Located in beautiful Deerfield resort there is something for everyone including a community pool (free) 1/2 mile from the home. Also available is tennis, basketball, boat slip, challenging 18 hole course, and even an air strip for private planes. You have all access to all of these. Keep in mind some of these may require usage fees.

Your lake access is via a dedicated, covered boat slip 2.5 miles away at Deerfield Marina. Drop off your family and coolers (with wheels) right at the marina dock gangway.

No boat? No worries! Rent from the nearby Springs dock or order delivery from NorrisLakeWaterSports (ask for NorrisLakeVillas 10% discount) and park it in your covered boat slip (no added cost) located inside Deerfield marina strategically next to the famous Tiki Bar (food, drinks, music).

The modern home offers street level 'main level' entry complete with a modern kitchen, TV room, dining room, covered & uncovered decks overlooking the lake, and 2 adult, master suite bedrooms.

The lower level has another TV room, billiard table, foosball table, another deck, 4 more bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and a laundry room.

Relax every evening while watching the deer roam the yard.

*** The primary guest actually booking this home and signing the rental agreement, must be a minimum 28 years of age. This person is solely responsible for any damages inflicted upon the property.

Short lived

The house was awesome, tons of room, and the view from the deck was amazing. Parking accommodations worked great for 3 trucks and trailers, unfortunately we only had the opportunity to stay for 48hrs as

Great Views

This house was large enough for all 14 of us to fit comfortably. Everything that was listed was there and the overall house was awesome. Our only issue that we all felt was that the linens and towels that were provided are old and run down, could use a new sets for the house. We did not contact the manager with this as we don't complain about silly things like that, however it is worth mentioning. We played golf at the local golf course and it was amazing. The view of the lake from the house is off the charts, and the rules of the house are incredibly reasonable. Would definitely stay here again!

Annual lake trip

Home was roomy, with two masters upstairs and four bedrooms laid out in different configurations. Also a gathering room with foosball and a pool table. Two porches with tables, chairs, and grills. Only one suggestion would be a sun shade on family room windows as evening sun is quite intrusive. We would definitely come back!

Brothers Deerfield golf outing!

6 brothers, 69 to 85 from MO, OK, TN, FL and SC. Very nice home. Complaint is that “renter must make beds upon arrival” and supply soap; both bath, laundry and dishwasher, as well as Coffee maker. Told to bring coffee filters; Mis info, as Keurig was on site! Told to strip beds before leaving! Would rather have these items supplied, beds made when you arrive and pay some additional amount more to compensate! Rules just seem rather ridiculous, as well as “inaccurate info”!

Some surprises...

The view was amazing! Based on previous reviews, we hoped we might see some deer on the lawn; we were not disappointed, for deer graced the lawn every day at dawn and dusk. The place was extremely clean and comfortable. Please be aware that the advertisement about there being a Mr. Coffee in the kitchen isn't true. We packed ground coffee and filters only to find out it was a Keurig. Also, one of the mattresses downstairs was sunken in badly and couldn't be used at all. There were a dozen of us, but the kitchen table only held six. We had to eat separately, using the deck and kitchen during meals. It might be nice to have a bigger table for larger families and maybe put a brighter light above it. Despite the minor glitches, I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Beautiful view of Norris Lake

Four families came from three different states to celebrate Thanksgiving. This was a great house! Beautiful view of Norris Lake. Plenty of room. Quiet and peaceful this time of year. We had a great time!

Perfect Getaway

We had a wonderful stay. They house was beautiful with a great view of the lake. The host John provided all of the details we needed and quickly responded to any questions we had. The kitchen was stocked with many of the amenities that we needed . The rooms were spacious and comfortably housed my family of 10. I would say be sure to follow the signs for the resort closely the GPS wasn't always correct in that area. Overall we loved our stay and will return again.

Nice potential house, poor host

This house has potential to be great, however the cleanliness and communication with the host made for this poor review. I had to contact the host in order to get check in instructions a day before we were to check in. The host did get back in a good time frame with the instructions but a day before? The house layout and rooms were nice. We had a group of 12 which included teenagers and everyone was comfortable in the house. However, we quickly were able to see the cleaning of the house was not very good. One of the mattresses on the bunk beds had a large stain on it, the house was filled with dust and cobwebs, the filter for the house had dust on it, the carpeting still had food under the kitchen table and the kitchen chairs had stains and the table was sticky. They had no cleaning items on premise to clean any items. If you have allergies, be careful They had very little directions as to the area or what the home consisted of. Usually in previous VRBO stays, the homeowner would have a "welcome packet" with information on local information and anything else to make your stay comfortable. We stayed in December which is the "off season" and a lot of places were either closed or had different hours due to this. It would have been nice to know this ahead of time. The fireplace in the home also did not work. I contacted the host numerous times during the stay and messaging thru the VRBO website did not get a response. I had to text the host directly and even then the response was delayed for hours or a day. I understand it was between Christmas and New Years, but a host should still be in contact with there customer. I contacted the host in regards to a refund for the cleaning fee as the stay for the home was a large amount of money. The host responded the same day advising they were "waiting on the report from the cleaning crew". That was the last I would hear from the host after numerous messages. I contacted VRBO in which they reached out to the host who advised I would be getting a refund on the cleaning fee. Well, its over two weeks and still no communication from the host and no refund. The home has potential as it is large and spacious. It had a lot of board games, pool table, foosball, and bags. Again, the rooms were great and plenty of refrigerator space. It was very unfortunate that the host could not communicate to solve a majority of these problems. and just completely ignored there customer as well as VRBO themselves.

Great family stay

We rented this property for our annual family Christmas gathering and it did not disappoint. The house was very spacious, and very comfortable. Everything was very clean and very well maintained. The view of the lake in this beautiful neighborhood and all the deer was an added bonus especially for the kids. Pictures of this property don't do justice in really showing how much space there was to really accommodate our large group and enjoy our gathering. Huge Thanks to the owner for a great, stress free family Christmas! Would definitely stay here again and hope to come back in the warmer months and being the boat to really take advantage of the beautiful lake.

Very Good Property

Quiet location, beautiful setting and lake view, very spacious accommodations and plenty of living space. Lots of outdoor seating for relaxation and visiting. Had everything we needed. for our short stay minus one ball for the pool table and a light bulb for one of the bedrooms. A couple of minor disappointments .... one bathroom still needed some cleaning. I expected the sheets to be folded and placed on the beds which would have made it more welcoming instead of the sheets just dumped on the beds in a big wrinkled heaps. I also expected the dishwasher to have been unloaded. Over all I would definitely recommend this property.

Enjoyable stay

Responsive to any questions. The house layout worked very well and would absolutely use again. The twin beds need a new mattress or soft top, as they were extremely hard.

Just what we needed!

The property was absolutely beautiful and there was plenty room where we didn't feel on top of each other. The view was great and the kids loved seeing all the deer on the property. It needs a few updated items in the kitchen like a new skillet and bigger upgraded toaster. Also, the tack strip around the kitchen needs to be fixed. It was hurting everyone's feel and my son stepped on it so hard that he was bleeding. I would also suggest to the owners that they hang curtains on all the sliding doors on the main floor. The sun was so blinding that we had to hang a sheet up in the evening just so we could eat dinner. Other than those minor things we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be staying here in the future.

Sprint Sunset Perfection

This is a lovely home with stunning views of the sunset and lake. The deer visit nightly and the house is convenient to the playground and tennis court. We had a great family visit with our children and grandchildren.

Beautiful lakeview home in the hills!

This home was just what we were looking for while at Norris Lake! It has a great layout for family to gather and be together. Lots of room and located in a great spot in the Deerfield community. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Beautiful View

House was nice....layout was perfect for 4 couples. Spacious. Beautiful view from deck.....it was nice watching the fall colors change. Check in and out were flawless. Deer visited the backyard every morning and evening. Even though Lafollette was only 13 miles away, the trip to town took 30 minutes due to the winding roads. House could use exterior cleaning...power washing and the main floor deck had insect or bird droppings very heavy right outside the sliding door and down the siding. All in all, we had a great time and would recommend this house.

Excellent Experience!

The property was great and as advertised. The owner went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. He assisted with a minor issue we encountered and worked hard to resolve the issue ASAP. Beautiful location, and easy marina access made the week a breeze.
