Sapevi che ci sono 2 vulcani nella città di La Fortuna ??? La maggior parte dei turisti sente parlare solo del vulcano Arenal, ma ce n'è uno accanto.

La mia casa è una 2 camera da letto con una splendida vista sulla foresta pluviale del Costa Rica, proprio ai margini della giungla, e il maestoso vulcano Arenal e il secondo vulcano Cerro Chato meno conosciuto.

Sono entusiasta di rendere la tua casa tua mentre sei in vacanza nella zona. Stai affittando l'intera cabina mentre sei qui ... Io e nessun altro alloggeremo presso la struttura durante il vostro soggiorno. Tuttavia, posso essere raggiunto se hai bisogno di qualcosa, ma per la maggior parte sei da solo.

La cabina si trova alla base del vulcano Arenal. È a soli 9 minuti (2 minuti su una strada sterrata accidentata) dal centro della città a La Fortuna, ma privato e appartato, ma a 5 minuti (1. 9 km) da uno dei più grandi negozi di alimentari della zona, e 3 minuti dalla cascata di La Fortuna.

Vuoi uccelli, li prendiamo - colibrì, tucani, Montezuma Oropendolas, Honey Creepers e molti, MOLTI, molti altri.

Volete una vista sul vulcano, potreste quasi allungare la mano e toccarla.

Le scimmie urlatrici possono essere ascoltate spesso passando a soli 100 metri di distanza. Se sei fortunato, li vedrai arrampicarsi da un albero all'altro mentre si rilassano mangiando e godendosi la giornata.

Sono costantemente paesaggista, quindi ci sono MOLTE piante, alberi e fiori per il tuo divertimento. Adorerai mangiare fuori sotto il portico mentre la bellezza che IS Costa Rica si muove intorno a te. Nutro i colibrì e loro si godranno la colazione mentre tu ti diverti - divertente da guardare - COSÌ TERRITORIALE. E di notte quando il cielo è buio e non c'è altro da vedere se non il nero. Puoi vedere le centinaia di lucciole che vagano in lontananza.

C'è un alveare (scatola) sul retro della proprietà, e fino ad oggi nessun affittuario ha avuto problemi con l'esistenza lì. Ma se sei allergico alle punture di api abbiamo pensato che dovremmo informarti su di loro.

Though the place is well located, the view of Arenal Volcano is awesome when the weather works, and the host, D’Angelo was very responsive and helpful, we did find that the kitchen items (such as pots and utensils) had not been cleaned for some time and the beds have a foam topper that made the bed way too soft (we just removed it for our stay and put it back on before we left). However, D’Angelo was very apologetic and worked with us on everything, so I would still recommend the place, especially in dry season to maximize your chances of enjoying the view.

Our Favorite Rental in Costa Rica!

The house was clean, charming, and in a beautiful location. The bed was sooooo comfortable and the views outside calmed our souls. Our favorite part was sitting on the outside partial wraparound porch where we could see Arenal and TONS of birds. We saw toucans, parakeets, tanagers, trogons, and many more. D'Angelo was super helpful with giving us travel tips and was very responsive. I highly recommend this rental and would come back here again! Thank you for the memorable stay.

Wonderful Stay

The house is small but has everything we needed. We spent most of our time on the lovely deck watching the birds and clouds around the volcano and listening to the sounds of the jungle. D’Angelo was sweet and super responsive. We saw a sloth in our backyard! We only left this morning and we miss it already! Close to town but far enough away to feel in the country!

Cute Home at the base of the Volcano

Nice home with an excellent view of the volcano. Only a couple minutes to town, but the feel of seclusion. Met the owner while checking in and he shared any and all information you may need about the home.

Pura vida

The property was beautiful! D'Angelo has cultivated a beautiful garden. It was great to sit and watch the comings and goings of volcano Arenal from our porch as the clouds came and went. We all really enjoyed having a secluded cabin to come relax in after a day of sight seeing. We were thankful to D'Angelo for leading us to the VRBO the first day and showing us all the features and how to manage temperature and bugs within the cabln. The one issue we had was managing the flow and temperature of the shower-we never did figure that out. Otherwise the cabin although some might call rustic was very relaxing and comfortable, we would stay there again.

Nice Rustic Cabin on a Beautiful Property

We enjoyed our stay here in La Fortuna. The cabin was cozy, well-appointed, and clean. The grounds had many exotic and beautiful trees, flowers, and colorful birds. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with.

Jungle cabin

Nice house in a small neighborhood right in the middle of the jungle with easy access to la fortuna. Saw many birds, including toucans. We thought the neighbors had a sick donkey the first several days only to find out it was howler monkeys in the trees behind the property.

4-night stay at La Fortuna

The property owner was very easy to communicate with, through VRBO and later using Whatsapp. He gave clear directions on how to get to the house and gave us a tour of the property. The house is well stocked with towels, linens, and kitchen items. The beds and furniture are comfortable. The views off the patio are amazing, Arenal Volcano fills your view on a clear day. There are dozens of species of birds in the gardens, the howler monkeys were heard early each morning, and a sloth was spotted in a tree on the neighboring property. The neighborhood is quiet, be advised that the neighbors are somewhat close, but are screened by the lush garden. Would stay here again.

Exactly as advertised

The place is great and as advertised. It’s rustic, but comfortable and in a great location. It made it very easy to get everywhere. We really enjoyed sitting out on the wrap around deck, drinking our coffee in the morning or listening to the rain at night. It was very rainy when we were there, which made it even more important to have a 4x4 in general, but especially getting down the neighborhood road (again, as advertised). D’Angelo was excellent. In addition to just setting us up for a nice stay at his place, he gave us some really good recommendations of things to do that enhanced our trip.

This is a very nice property but there are a couple of dozen little fixes required. Screens and doors do not fit snugly - so expect the odd gecko. The toaster was pretty finicky, the lock was a bit finicky. The water pressure was up and down quite a bit while we were there making showers quite challenging - nothing major - but it adds up. The biggest complaint is with the very dedicated rooster who takes his job very seriously. Also lots of barking dogs and a dirt bike next door that seems to run a few errands in the morning around 5 and then returns late. I feel like the price was high for what we experienced.

Great location, great accommodations

Loved the view of Volcano Arenal. Loved the quiet location, but close to town. Loved seeing the birds (20 species!) and hearing the howlers. Perfect!

My Favorite Place in Traveling for 1.5 years

A quaint cabin in nature. Is brighter, cleaner, and homier than the pictures show. I could live there for sure. D'Angelo was always helpful!!

Perfect Cabin

My wife and I stayed at this cabin during our trip to La Fortuna and had a blast. So much wildlife right outside and the view of the volcano is truly breathtaking. Very well located and we were able to easily access all of the things we planned to do and see in the area. We stayed in Tamarindo afterwards and all we wanted to do was go back to De’Angelo’s cabin! It is a TRUE Costa Rican experience. We loved our stay.

Loved this place!! The view is 👌

We really enjoyed our stay! It’s such a hidden gem. We saw howler monkeys from the balcony!! We have stayed in several places in Costa Rica and this place has the most comfortable beds!!! The host was incredible would definitely come stay again.
