“This was a last min booking for us when we decided to leave our previous accommodations early (2 hours away) because they were awful. The staff here were excellent. Very very friendly. Check in and check out were very simple. Parking was a little tricky as we didn't realize at first that parking was in the rear and when we went, it was full. Great location for staying in the Cotswolds as Moreton-in-Marsh has all forms of transportation connections.”

“The hotel is located in the village of Blockley, one of our favourite villages in the Cotswolds, as it is completely untouristy and truly charming. It is also very close to other villages, all easily reachable within 10–15 minutes by car. The hotel rooms are a bit dated, but the staff were extremely kind and even upgraded our room, giving us a very lovely and comfortable accommodation. Breakfast, ordered from the menu, was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay”

“We spent 2 nights at the Volunteer Inn in September in a room with shared bathroom. Everything was very clean and comfortable and the staff were all great. The breakfast was good and the pub downstairs is a good spot for a drink. Our room faces the road but was very quiet and did not get any noise from the pub. Given the cost of staying in Chipping Campden, we felt the rate was very reasonable.”
