“There was no tooth brush or toothpaste in the room, room in the loft too small for a 6ft man height wise. Apart from that everything was good, location perfect, friendly staff. ”

“Church view was a perfect location. It was an easy walk on the footpath to the town. The cottage was huge & done with impeccable taste. We had a bit of difficulty finding the cottage, as it was nighttime & raining when we arrived, but were pleasantly surprised at the loveliness once we entered.”

Extraordinarily clean and organised, it is also silent and full of comfort, with Jill serving a supreme breakfast and taking care of all your requests. “Barton Cottage is a lovely property in the beautiful Bourton on the Water. There is a lot to do just walking around the village (kid friendly)and nearby villages. There are great dining options nearby. We enjoyed the comfortable living room. We did have trouble finding the property and couldn’t get ahold of the management service. The gps coordinates on Expedia are inaccurate and the street was dark. The property is the right next to the Mousetrap Inn. It has a sign that was difficult to...

“Lovely property just a short walk into the centre of Bourton on the water, though beware there is a very steep hill to climb when walking back. Very spacious. Lounge and open plan kitchen could do with a bit of an update. Fabulous views across the country side and so many different species of birds to view from the very large window in the lounge. Owners very kindly left binoculars and a bird book. Extremely quiet setting. Stayed Friday to Monday and it was a really lovely break. ”
