“Room was excellent and location perfect for Cheltenham races. Food (breakfast and dinner) and service great. Accommodation very expensive though and pub was very busy that meant our table for dinner was moved in to bar area and two main courses not available. However, we gave this feedback which was dealt with positively ”

The service team followed through with our request for one room on the ground level to accommodate my mother who has difficulty walking up stairs AND placed a roll away bed in the second room. “The hotel is located in the village of Blockley, one of our favourite villages in the Cotswolds, as it is completely untouristy and truly charming. It is also very close to other villages, all easily reachable within 10–15 minutes by car. The hotel rooms are a bit dated, but the staff were extremely kind and even upgraded our room, giving us a very lovely and comfortable accommodation. Breakfast, ordered from the menu, was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay”
