“Nice big kitchenette and shower”

“This is a pleasant place to stay—everything is clean and comfortable, and the staff is very helpful. The pretty courtyard in the center is a nice place to gather with friends and family. Their own bar/restaurant is staffed by friendly people, and it’s just across a small parking lot to a great bagel shop, a Starbucks, Chinese food, and a renown pizza restaurant, making it hard to decide what to eat while staying there. If you want to shop, it’s a two minute drive to Washington Square Mall, and...

“The room was quiet, clean and large. Free breakfast was great. Fresh omelette bar was amazing and the additional items were varied, plentiful and very good. Appreciated the evening reception with free appetizers & beverages:”

“Great Buffet breakfast options, and the property is distinctive with a nice garden, pond, and gazebo between the buildings. The only problem we ran into was not having an elevator, but with only two floors in our building, it wasn't too big a problem. One thing to note - the property is built on a hill-side, which can make the parking lot a little hard to navigate.”

“Horrible stay staff was ok room was ok but safety around the hotel was awful up all night from noise people yelling in the lobby. Had to book another hotel due to safety. Would never recommend due to safety reasons alone.”

“This is my second time staying at this motel. Everything was great, check in went smoothly and quickly. The shower head is made for someone taller (I'm not that thin and felt like I had to run around in the shower to get wet) but otherwise the amenities were good for a motel. For some reason the road noise seemed really loud this time--might recommend bringing earplugs. Other than that, I'd definitely stay here again.”

“This hotel is immaculate and the staff is incredible. We found the location just fine for exploring Portland by car. That being said, the location is urban. If you're not ready to discuss homelessness and addiction with your kids, you may want to reconsider. There are multiple missions in the vicinity so I think that's the reason those unhoused folks tend to hang around. The parking being valet was also a bummer as we prefer to be able to come and go as we please.”

“Everything was great. The hotel was clean. The staff was super friendly. My only complaint was the sound of the neighboring rooms -the doors do not softly close- they shut so loudly. Every time someone came and went we heard a loud bang.”
