“As the name would imply, the hotel is located uphill from the main street of the town. The rooms were spacious and were separated by a wall, so each person had their own section. The bathroom was an issue as the toilet, sink and shower were all in the same place, so that if someone had a shower, the whole floor would get wet. The wi-fi was inconsistent but worked better in the dining area. The restaurant had minimal options and you had to order what you wanted for the evening hours beforehand. I...

“Poor entrance road, without signs, but the place was beautifully constructed with old huge wooden beams in the dining area, good food, beautiful grounds, nice pool and helpful friendly staff”

“Supremely clean, extremely well- appointed rooms/tents, the food was superb and the staff beyond friendy and professional! Specifically wanted to mention nBaraka who helped us with rental car issues and advocated for us constantly. Also he was instrumental in helping us get our permits for Ngorongoro Crater and Olduvai Gorge. “Ngedere Lodge is nicely situated in Mto wa mbu as an ideal base for Safari game drives to Manyara Lake, Ngorongoro Crater and even the Serengeti National Parks. I had the half board package. Erick cooked great food with a range of pancakes, omlettes, sausages for breakfast and the loads of options on the evening.
