Hotel vicino a Lagoona Park - Reading

“I regularly work in Reading and when I get the chance, I will stay in the Market House. I’ve stayed in a few of the other Reading central hotels and this is my favourite for the price and comfort. Rooms are always really clean, showers are nice and hot and I get a good night’s sleep. Andreea the host is very welcoming too!”

“We stayed at this hotel for one night, coming from London for the reading Festival. We arrived around 12 pm so the rooms were not ready but we could check-in and leave our luggage. The location is fantastic if you're arriving by train as it is right in front of the station. We were back later and were given the room key. Our room was quiet, had a very nice decor and modern appliances. The check-out was at 12 pm, and we really enjoyed that we could sleep a bit longer than the average 11 am check...

“The welcome food (fruit, cookies, etc.) was appreciated. The room was clean, but the dishwasher was not working properly and I couldn't use it properly. The bus stop was nearby, which was convenient for commuting. The manager's service was very good.”

“A lovely place with a beautiful garden to the rear. Easy to find and very quaint. My colleague and i ate in the restaurant and the food was great. Highly recommend if staying in the area”

“Lovely clean, comfortable hotel right in the centre of Reading, only a short walk away from the train station. The bed was very comfortable (a firm mattress, as I like it). Breakfast options were abundant and the quality was excellent. Overall this place is great value for money, will definitely stay here again!”

“We had a very pleasant stay, highly recommend, great location, spotlessly clean, loved the special little touches, tea, coffee, biscuits, cereal and even milk and cold water in the fridge. The kitchen was well equipped, extremely impressed, cooked meals and had everything I needed. Communication was excellent and easily navigated entry and pre-booked parking space which was safe and secure. “La location è ottima se si ha necessità di essere vicino all'Università, in dieci minuti a piedi si è al Campus. In centro si arriva in 10 minuti di bus o a piedi ca. 25 min. Il personale è gentile e disponibile. La camera è abbastanza pulita, ma in 6 giorni non hanno mai cambiato le lenzuola.”

“Room and bedding were spotlessly clean. Big TV, power shower and a balcony whilst being ones of the cheaper places in Reading. The exterior and location is a bit strange but there’s not much they can do about that and it doesn’t detract from its appeal. I’d definitely stay again. ”
