Casa Rey; A tropical paradise just a stroll away from the beach

Casa Rey is a stunning house with breath taking panoramic ocean views from most rooms, situated on a quiet cul-de-sac, it is only a few minutes’ walk to some of the finest beaches in southern California. From French doors, step outside and enjoy our lush tropical garden and the turquoise waters of the swimming pool.
There are several outside living spaces including two decks with spectacular ocean vistas and are set up for outside dining and lounging.
The garden offers total privacy and benefits from a raised poolside terrace with sofas, table and chairs, a heater and BBQ.
This modern house which melds the contemporary with the traditional has 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. On request we can rent only the downstairs of the house (2bed/bath without access to the upstairs master suite). The master bedroom is accessed via an open tread staircase encased in a glass tower which creates a sensation of ascending to the trees. This bedroom takes over the entire second floor and has bifold doors opening on to its own balcony bringing the outside in. The blinds are electric. The master bathroom includes a large bath and shower as well as toilet and sink.
Bedroom number 2 has a spectacular floor to ceiling picture window overlooking the pool, with a patio door leading to the outside. It has its own en-suite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
Bedroom number three enjoys views of both the pool and the garden.
There is a third full bathroom which is independent to the bedrooms, but only steps away via a private passageway.
The open plan design of the Living Room, Kitchen and Dining Room offers plenty of space for lounging and dining and they also benefit from ocean views. The Living room has French doors opening out to the garden.
The house is equipped with Meile, Bosch and Samsung appliances and includes dishwasher, large fridge freezer, double oven, washer and dryer, microwave and two smart TVs.
There is ample parking on the street as well as space for two cars in the driveway.
Laguna Beach offers a free trolley service that runs regularly and is perfect for going downtown or trying out a different beach. There is also a “Laguna Local” free taxi service. Both have stops very close to the house.
Casa Rey is one street away from the wilderness which offers miles of incredible hiking and biking trails. If you fancy golf, we have that too, just minutes from the house. There is also a park with a fully equipped playground, basketball and Pickle Ball. Across the street we have one of the best hotels in North America with a stunning public park where you access what could be considered as the most beautiful beach in Laguna; Treasure Island. This park offers free yoga twice every morning, every day.
There are a number of excellent restaurants just steps from the house, as well as a pharmacy, supermarket and spa.
A car isn’t even necessary when staying at Casa Rey and this is a huge plus because trying to park in Laguna Beach during the summer or at weekends is neigh on impossible. To be able to walk to the beach, walk to dinner or hike and bike from the house is a tremendous benefit.
Swimming pool is not heated (not necessary in summer), attached Jacuzzi is not heated either but can be used as an extension of the pool, e.g. ideal as a paddle pool for kids. Garage is not available to renters.

All utilities are included, except if the bill is more than 30% higher than the average bill for that period, renter needs to pay the difference. This should not be an issue, unless the renters neglect, e.g. open windows and doors while heating the house in the winter, could cause a higher than usual bill.
