“Our stay was super relaxing in our little cottage by the river. Everything we needed to be comfortable was provided but taking groceries is essential. The cabin was very cosy and the views were stunning. Thanks to Andy for leaving us with lots of chopped wood to keep warm and have a lovely wood fire in the evenings. Not having any mobile access was a blessing so we could switch off and enjoy our surroundings.”

“The house is great for large groups - we were a group of two extended families and the property was perfect for the kids to run around. The house itself could have been cleaner and we were disappointed by the small number of utensils provided - there should be at least enough forks and knives for the number of guests staying (I think we had 12 forks total for our group of 14 and there are a total of about 17 beds). Also the pots and pans were all almost unusable - the non stick coating was grimy...

“Lovely property. Heaters in each room. Plenty of bedding. Only thing that was a lil let down was it said byo firewood meaning there would be a wood fire or outdoor fire pit. No fire pit or fire on the property.”

“Property has alot of great features but does need some maintenance to make it fantastic. Located perfect for a trip to buller. Drying cupboard is a small room with a heater which i find dangerous. Generous sized rooms and living.”

“2 families stayed here over the Australia Day long weekend. As displayed in the photos, the house is quite run down on the outside and in some parts in the inside but none of this affected our stay. Everything that mattered was great. Very clean, great working bathroom and kitchen, easy access BBQ, enough driveway parking for 2 x cars, 1 x boat and 1 x jetski, shops walking distance, the lake only a short drive. Thanks for having us!”

“No hot water in a ski resort?!? 4 forks for 12 people, oven barely working, dishwasher poorly installed and dangerous. Hardly any bowls or glasses and no cups. Cupboard doors off hinges. Great location and comfy beds but that’s it.”
