È SEMPRE PIÙ QUI ... PESCA SULLA TUA PEDANA PRIVATA, MOONLIGHT PASSA LUNGO LA SPIAGGIA O GUARDANDO I TRAMONTI SUL BAY FADE IN STAR LIT NOTTI.

Non ce ne sono molti ... Goditi il tuo molo privato di pesca illuminato, assisti a spettacolari albe sul Golfo e tramonti sulla baia di Little Drum. E soprattutto, se porti la tua barca, puoi lanciarla e parcheggiarti di fianco al lastricato, lanciando un'imbarcazione privata e lasciare la tua barca parcheggiata nel nostro molo privato.

Completato nel giugno 2008, questa casa ha due balconi coperti molto grandi che si affacciano sulla Little Drum Bay. Guarda i bambini che pescano sul molo illuminato mentre ondeggi delicatamente nell'amaca futon progettata per ospitare due adulti. Leggi il tuo libro preferito, fai un pisolino o sorseggia la tua bevanda preferita mentre guardi i tramonti spettacolari.

All'interno è possibile rilassarsi nella spaziosa ed aperta planimetria progettata per accogliere gruppi di tutte le dimensioni. La cucina ha tutti gli elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile. I cuochi gourmet apprezzano la possibilità di preparare i loro piatti preferiti, ascoltando la loro musica preferita mentre ammirano il panorama della baia.

Tre camere da letto sono al piano di sopra, ma una è al piano di sotto per l'occasionale arrivo a tarda notte o il nonno che russa.

La spiaggia è a soli 5 isolati di distanza. Carica le sedie, l'ombrello, il refrigeratore e il putter sulla spiaggia per costruire castelli di sabbia, wake board, surf-fish o semplicemente rilassarti e goderti il panorama. Quando torni a casa, sciacqua sotto la doccia esterna con acqua calda e fredda.

Alla fine della giornata, puoi giocare a giochi da tavolo con la famiglia, sederti sotto le stelle, fare smores sul fuoco nel firepit o guardare film o TV.

Ci sono una varietà di altre attività che includono ristoranti locali, golf putt-putt, Moody Gardens, parco acquatico Schlitterbahn, il museo confederato dell'aeronautica e The Strand, una zona commerciale di classe mondiale a Galveston.

Grandson’s wedding

Families from Iowa and Wisconsin gathered to help with and attend a wedding. The kitchen had what was needed to prepare meals and food for the families and a rehearsal dinner (off site). The large dining table was appreciated. Beach and bay activities ARE the best of both worlds. Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing Family Getaway!

We had an amazing time here on our summer vacation! Our party of 12 fit very comfortably in the home. Everyone had fun fishing and the beach, which is less than 3 minutes drive away, was clean and beautiful. The Surfside Market is five minutes down the road, which came in very handy for water and supplies. Loved our time here and grateful for the great communication with the hosts. Thank you again!

Family beach vacation

We enjoyed the home. There were seven of us Ian’s we had plenty of room. Beds were comfortable. Beautiful views of the bay. Enjoyed fishing at the pier and we look forward to visiting again!

Grandkids meet the ocean!

Our family had a great time fishing off the dock and visiting the beach. We had a crab boil, which was delicious. There was even a brief visit from an alligator. The kids loved getting to see different species of crabs in action. We were a little disappointed that the launch next to the house was only big enough for kayaks, but everyone still had lots of fun. This place is great for a family gathering because it's close to Galveston and Houston and the beach and fishing!

The property was very clean and contained everything you you could need for a comfortable stay. I was impressed by how well the kitchen was stocked with accessories necessary to cook any meal. The beach was only a two minute ride and there was a hot/cold shower to rinse off in before entering the hose. The entire family enjoyed the stay.

Excellent fishing retreat

Right in the center of great fishing spots. Fish drum bay from the private dock or take your boat/kayak up to the connecting Christmas bay just a couple miles away. Also from the cabin if you turn left on blue water hwy it’s only 10 minute drive to San Luis Pass. Or turn right and drive 10 minutes to the Freeport jetties. The cabin itself great….clean, comfortable, and accommodating. Easily slept 8 people with room to spare.

Great place for families

Overall, it was a really nice trip. The only thing wrong was the faucet in the upstairs bathroom was broken. The owner did state it was ordered and would be replaced. Bring your off, the mosquitos were bad.

Best of both worlds!

We love this home on the bay and across the street from the beach! The kids enjoy crabbing right from the deck and the house has crabbing traps and a canoe for the guests use. We have been here many times and after this trip the entire family agreed this is our favorite VRBO rental!

Wonderful Gulfside Property

My sister and I were surprising our parents with a trip to the beach and this was the perfect place for us. We took family pictures on the pier, got sunburned on the beach, went fishing and enjoyed the day. I didn’t see a fire pit but with the weekend being so humid and mosquito-y we didn’t spend too much time outside except the last night when we went fishing. If we ever went back to the gulf this is where we would stay.

So glad I brought my fishing pole

Absolutely stunning! We all, hands down, agreed it was one of the best last minute planned getaways ever. The house is cozy, welcoming and very comfortable. If you are looking for technology, this is not it. The wifi was very good but the tv is basic - no streaming in the family area. There is a FireStick upstairs but who cares. The view, the water and the highlight in our opinion was the double decks. We literally lived on the decks. The sunrise and set are amazing. Two never came down. I fished (last minute decision) and caught stingrays, crabs, catfish and crocker. Extremely relaxing. The owners are so sweet! The previous reviews are spot on so I will not repeat - we needed nothing except food. Can't wait to come back.

Best ever!

This is the only place I will ever stay at Surfside. I love the owners and the place is perfect. Every time we stay here we build new outstanding memories!!! The owners are so awesome, especially if you need help or have questions. Their goal is to always make sure you have fun!!! The house is always spotless when we get there and we leave nothing but our footprints. I can’t wait for next time

We enjoyed our stay. Overall, we are very happy with the property, amenities, and the stay we were offered. Some of the deck railing was missing which left holes large enough for my toddler to potentially fit through. We didn’t let her get close enough to the edge anyway, but if she had, it could have potentially be dangerous. Inside could have been cleaner upon arrival, but it was fine. There were some ants inside. We really did enjoy our stay though! And we loved the space we had for the amount of people we brought.

Great Stay!

We highly recommend this home! It was beautiful staying right on the bay and out of the hustle and bustle of the city! We enjoyed the dock and sitting on the upper patio watching the sunsets! Our grandkids loved riding their scooters on the patio and it was great being so close to the beach! Most days the beach was pretty empty so we felt like we had it all to ourselves! We would love to stay again!

Bay home w a view

Wonderful weekend getaway with family- kids age 2 to 86! Great bay home with a wonderful view of the bay and sunset providing great bird watching. Beach just a short walk away. We had a great time and hope to return.
