  • Stupendo, recentemente ristrutturato, 3 camere da letto, 2 bagni, casetta a cielo aperto sull'ambita Lake of Bays. Situata nell'angolo nord-orientale di Muskoka, questa struttura offre un grande molo con vista sull'acqua, con un litorale sabbioso e poco profondo per un divertimento assicurato in famiglia. L'ampio soggiorno offre una spettacolare vista sul lago. La zona giorno comprende un camino a legna che crea uno spazio accogliente e luminoso. La spaziosa camera da letto principale (situata al piano principale) vanta un letto matrimoniale più un letto a castello con materasso estraibile (il letto a castello ne ospita tre). La seconda camera ha una generosa quantità di stanza con un letto matrimoniale e armadio. La terza camera dispone di un letto a castello che include anche un armadio. C'è anche un futon nel soggiorno che può facilmente ospitare un altro ospite. Cottage comprende due bagni, uno per ogni piano. Il bagno al 1 ° piano comprende vasca e doccia.

    Situato a pochi minuti da negozi locali, sentieri per motoslitte, escursioni, ristoranti e golf di classe mondiale!

    Il cottage è dotato di riscaldamento centralizzato in inverno e un caminetto a legna per il vostro divertimento. (Legna da ardere non fornita). Ci sono anche i fan forniti in ogni camera da letto, tra cui un ventilatore in testa nella zona giorno principale.

    Grande ponte posteriore con vista sull'acqua include l'uso di un barbecue a gas e carbone. (Propano fornito).

    C'è un grande pozzo del fuoco in pietra situato nel grande terreno posteriore per il vostro divertimento notturno.

    Tutte le lenzuola, asciugamani, piatti, forno a microonde, macchina per il caffè, bollitore, posate, pentole e padelle sono forniti per il vostro soggiorno. Una lavatrice / asciugatrice si trova anche sul posto per il vostro uso. (Forniture non incluse).

    Ampio vialetto anteriore può ospitare fino a 6 auto.

    Questo è un animale domestico e privo di fumo.

    Tutte le strade sono solcate dalla città durante i mesi invernali, rendendo facile l'accesso durante i mesi nevosi.

Cottage was exactly as advertised. Fantastic stay for up to 4 adults and 4 kids. Absolutely great communication from hosts. Large dock with part always in shade. Water toys in great shape. Clean and well stocked. Internet is spotty / slow - plan to play, not work :)

We had an absolute fantastic time. Great location, dock is huge allowing room for all. The kayaks were a hit, we did day trips to Algonquin from here, it was the perfect spot!! Thanks for the great stay and family memories!!

Relaxing getaway

The property was clean and cozy and supplied everything we needed for our stay. The dock and kayaks were a great daytime retreat, starting the day with amazing sunrises. We will definitely recommend this rental and return for future stays!

Beautiful Place

Kids had a blast and so did the adults. Lots to do at the cottage and Algonquin park isn’t far to do some trails. Saw a moose and black bear!!

Our family had an amazing stay at this cottage. The location is gorgeous! It was very clean and well stocked and had a beautiful view through picture windows, of Lake of Bays. Our one and a half year old granddaughter loved the sandy beach and getting a ride on the kayak and paddle boat. We hiked in Algonquin every day and we were lucky to see a black bear. two foxes and a moose.We hope to come back soon! Highly recommend.Suggestions for Improvement: Bedroom windows that can open; kitchen scissors; more kitchen towels and a drain rack.

Thank you for our delightful visit to your cottage and the Lake of Bays. It was exactly how you described it and more. The surrounding cottages were so welcoming and let us use many of their water toys as well as what the cottage supplied. It was truly a unique experience for my granddaughters from Scotland. They loved the water and adjusted to swimming in the superb water front. Thank you Maria

Two Weeks of Relaxation

The property was exactly as describe in the description. We spent a lot of time down by the water utilizing the water "toys" that were available. the kids all had a good time swimming and fishing (catching about 40 fish). I would definitely recommend this destination to anyone and would go back myself.

Really great spot

Everything you could want for a summer getaway - great deck and bbq area, sizeable lawn area for yard games, great dock stocked with rafts, inflatables etc. be aware neighbours are close by on either side, but very friendly people!

We enjoyed 2 weeks regardless of a few items that need fixing

Overall we had a good and enjoyable time, especially all the water Toys and the peddle boat.

Cottage vacation

We had such a wonderful week at John's cottage. We spent countless hours on the dock and in the water. My 7 , 5 and 2 year old all loved the water mat and paddle boat. There was plenty of room for all of us in the cottage. It was very clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. We are already talking about booking again for next year. We would highly recommend!!

Great clean cottage

This was a fantastic week enjoyed by my family. The cottage is amazing and very well kept. Newer deck and dock were fantastic. The water was great. We did have to grab more water for the cooler and toilet paper as they was only 3 rolls left for 6 people. If that's our only downfall then I know we did very well. Great property, great and easy communication with owners. Very highly recommended.

A Great Getaway

Modern 3-bedroom cottage. Beautiful property on the Lake of Bays. Picture windows viewing the lake. New large deck attached to cottage, and new dock at the lake. Well-appointed throughout : kitchenware, bedding, etc., and 2 kayaks. No A/C but ceiling fans and floor fans throughout, so no problem there. Dwight a 3 minute drive away, Huntsville 20 minutes away, and Algonquin Park gate about 30 minutes away. We had a great time !

Wonderful Property

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to recommend this cottage! John was an amazing host, very responsive and kind. The cottage was very clean and cozy and well stocked with everything we needed. The property was great and we had fun skating on the lake, building a quinze, and stomping out showshoe drawings in the snow. We read and played cards in front of the fire every night. Having 2 bathrooms and central heating were additional comforts. A few snowshoe trails were within walking distance or more trails and cross-country skiing a short drive to Algonquin. Groceries, firewood and gas easily accessed. We even grabbed take-out pizza in Huntsville. We would definitely stay here again! :)

Had a great time even though the weather was not the greatest. Lots of things to do and enjoyed the fire in the evening. Our granddaughter caught a good size large mouth bass off the dock..

Wonderful

We had a wonderful week at the cottage of John and Francesco. Everything we could have needed was available. Cottage is beautiful, clean, well equipped with everything. First time in years we had all our adult children together. Absolutely marvellous. Beautiful sunrises and spectacular full moon experiences while we were there. Thank you John for checking in with us to see if we needed anything. We will definitely try to make this a return visit next year.

Great location - access to Algonquin but bring your own towels and sheets

Pros: The property and cottage are spacious and has nice water front. It was a cold week so we did not swim much-but the deck and dock area are very nice and easy access for swimming. Would have liked a canoe, easier to stay dry than the open kayaks, which we ended up not using. As its close to Algonquin, we were in the park every day-takes about 45 minutes drive to get to hikes at the middle of the highway 60 corridor, great hiking, bicycling and canoeing so the week overall was a great experience. The internet worked reasonably well for the country side, there is TV, comfortable seating, all the dishes etc you need. Cons: The property advertised all linens, but when we got there there were 3 bath towels and no hand towels -we had reserved for 5 people and it sleeps 9- we had to call the owner for a couple more towels- should not advertise full linens if not provided. The rules of the cottage say to remove all garbage, but the previous visitors had filled a bin outside that the animals had got to- and it was a mess....the owner had it cleaned up next day, but still, was not a good first impression. Then the sheets on the bed were odd- some had 2 sheets but some just one and a duvet cover. The master bedroom had the only Queen and it had no bottom sheet, just mattress cover, and a double top sheet on a Queen mattress- didn't fit so next day we ended up going to Huntsville to buy a set of sheets at Walmart. We had to wash many of the dishes before use, as there was caked on food many of them. Overall, for the price charged (over $3000 a week with all the charges added in), the standards of linens, dirty dishes, overall impression were a bit below expectations, but we did enjoy the week.
