Didn't want to leave

We fell in love with the property the minute we walked in the door. The peace and beauty of the place is just magic. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a get away either as a couple or with family, it really is just beautiful.

Really enjoyed the stay. The warm fire heated up the entire house so well. The spa was a real treat and the property manager is lovely and was very helpful. Thank-you so very much!

Another lovely stay at this amazing place . Thank you again for such a peaceful stay at your magical property . Rechelle & Terry are the perfect hosts , super welcoming and helpful . Obviously it speaks for itself how much we love it as we stayed 9 weeks ago for 4 nights and this stay we booked for 6 nights . Bliss !

Amazing !

Absolutely stunning location , if you are looking for peace and quiet this is the best location . The house and set up is just perfect , beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything you might possibly need . So much thought and attention has been given . Our hosts Rechelle and Terri are just the nicest people to deal with and go above and beyond to accommodate . We couldn’t be happier with everything about our time in this beautiful place and are already planning our return stays . Thank you so much and see you both again soon .

Home away from home

Our family had a wonderful stay at Lake Rotoma. The home is completely decked out with everything a family needs which was awesome in terms of what we didn't need to bring. The fact that the interior is also stylishly decorated contributed to the overall experience. The rural setting was quiet and relaxing, the roaring fire and spa were also big winners. Access to other nearby lakes also was another big plus for our boating. Rechelle was an excellent host, thank you.

I suggest you not put "Excellent swimming, water skiing and fishing at Lake Rotoehu" in the description, as the lake was unsuitable for both, very polluted and smelt. We did however, enjoy Lake Rotoma which was clean and clear and great for fishing and swimming, and 10mins down the road.

The property was as expected set in a lovely large garden with views over both farm land and down to the lake. The house was very clean and tidy with beds made up and plenty of towels including extra towels for the spa. Terry had lit the fire, and heated the spa pool which was lovely. The house also has underfloor heating in part and was really toasty and comfortable. We are a family of 4, plus puppy, and the house worked perfectly for us. A bonus was a lovely welcome food parcel R left us!

Quite location with a lovely view overlooking the lake. Great to be so close to the natural thermal pools. Effective wood burner and underfloor heating, making the place cosy. The spa didn't seem to be working properly which was a little disappointing but luckily we had the thermal pools

Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay. It's private, sunny with fantastic views. Terry the host had the fire going when we arrived with goodies in the fridge. Then he left us to it for the weekend. Awesome.

Loved this peice of paradise this property is perched at the to of the bay with breath taking views and of lake Rotoehu photos do no justice perfect weekend getaway beautiful manicured gardens and super clean In side & out my little sister even found a tree hut down the hill when she went exploring we will deffinately be back :)
