Make sure you close all the gates to make a fully-enclosed doggy space. For nature nerds we recommend watching the bees with binoculars in the morning!”

“My wife and I absolutely loved this yurt! We intended to spend a few days in the Brevard/Pisgah area and saw this available for a long weekend. It looked nice enough so we booked, and when we arrived it honestly exceeded our expectations. Very cozy, comfortable, clean, and the kitchen/bathroom was very well done. “We had an amazing time!!!!! The house is perfect for entertaining. It even has a pizza oven in the outdoor fire area! We loved playing darts while having a fire at night. The beds were very soft. For some who prefer a harder bed that might be a problem. The house is situated in a neighborhood but a quiet part of the neighborhood. We will definitely be back!”

“The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend.”
