BUT the room was SUPER old and worn out. The bathroom had serious mold issues around the shower frame and the floor of the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. “Was a nice place to stay. The property was set away from the major traffic on a service road, which was a plus for privacy and noise. The front desk was attentive to requests for an extra coffee packet and sugar. Room was clean, bed was clean, shower and facilities were clean. (I have a blood, urine light that exposes unclean surfaces)- a good thing to have when staying at a hotel. If I ever have to stay in Shreveport, LA. again, this will be one I will consider. “This place is truly a hidden gem. Close to downtown for the restaurants and activities, but in a nice neighborhood. So much here, beautiful rooms and even a big backyard. The comman areas are delightful, and our room was even better. Enjoyed the big soaker tub with the jets.”

After having checked once, after over thirty minutes, i needed to leave. Disappointing. Our TV didn't work and the front desk was advised. The guy came and got our TV and brought another which did not work. After two more tries of bringing non-working TV's, he was frustrated, mumbling and cussing under his breath, we told him to forget about it. ...

“The room was run down and in need of repairs. There was a foul odor in the toilet. The towel bar in the shower was missing. The walls in the shower were caked with accumulated soap film and were unclean. In the lavatory area, there was a portion of the wall where something had been attached (probably a hand soap dispenser) to the wall but was torn off leaving broken hole in the drywall. The wall switch light by the door was too dim, around a 40-watt light. Three of the other lamps didn't...
