“The floor was so filthy our socks were black. The floor also had crumbs and animal crackers on it, the shower had hair and a bug and the blow dryer was so gross, even a bleach wipe would not clean it. We told the front desk the next morning. When we returned late that night, we had a new blow dryer, but the floor was not vacuumed or cleaned and still hair in the shower. “The hotel’s location was nice. The lake view is very pretty. We chose the hotel because of the breakfast reviews, but found breakfast to be average at best. The restaurant inside was closed, and is only open during their busy season. Overall, the location was nice, but amenities were lacking. ”

“Staff was friendly. Allowed us to get a parking pass early and use shuttle to have lunch at Casino before checking in. Shuttle was a definite plus. But ends at 11pm. The breakfast was average high carb, sugary food you find at these hotels. For as much as we spent for one night the options should have been more. We opted to eat at The Best Cafe about a mile away. ”

“We have stayed at the Arlington for years. This trip was terrible. The carpet in the room was completely nasty. The walls were filthy. Paint was chipped. I was extremely disappointed. It used to be such a beautiful property. We did enjoy the lobby area, as always. But the room was unacceptable. ”
