“We had people visiting from out of town and wanted somewhere with room for us all to stay. The ArtBnB was so charming, the decor was colourful and quirky. There were plenty of sleeping options for everyone- a king bed, a rollaway cot, two sofa beds, and some floor mattresses. Everything was clean and checkin and checkout was easy. “My sister and I stayed here for our sisters weekend shopping trip to Halifax 15-18 Aug. This property was very clean and private. Check in was flawless. Exactly what we needed. Would recommend for sure! ”

“Lots of amenities. Owners very helpful in recommending local restaurants. Enjoyed finding mussels and sea glass on the little beach as well as the antics of the "rock" beavers. The heated pool was a plus. Absolutely wonderful views of the bay.”

“When we arrived there was construction happening next door with loud equipment and blowing dust clouds. This left outdoor areas unusable and very dirty. The garbage bins out front smelled like rotting fish and were crawling with maggots. Beware of very steep downward driveway. “It was a lovely property and the hosts were very nice! There was plenty of space for all 4 of us and it was very well kept. The bed was very soft. Very clean and i would love to stay again if we are back in Halifax. ”

“We had an excellent stay at this VRBO. It was within walking distance of my sister in laws house, so it was perfect for our little family. Clean, and had everything you needed, including parking! The neighbourhood is beautiful and quiet, so we always felt safe! My only suggestion would be to provide more toilet paper. We stayed for 4 nights 5 days and only had 3 small rolls of toilet paper. “This Lakeside retreat was perfect! Just what my family of 4 needed. We enjoyed looking out at the lake and swimming and fishing. Hot tub was a great activity at night. Campfires over looking the lake and watching the sunset. The house is very clean and comfy for a family of 4. The owner was very responsive. We also enjoyed going off on adventures in the area, wineries, Halifax, Mahone Bay and the local meat market Oulton's. A must to visit if you love animals. They have all kinds of exotic cool...

“Met by the very attentive owner who is very polite. Answered texts very quickly, and checked in to make sure everything was okay and to see if I needed anything. Place was clean, bed is very comfortable, and amenities are close by with a car. Easy access to major highway close by.”
