“Bel endroit confortable et propre, de charme, avec espaces nombreux etcbelle cuisine tres bien equipee. 2 piscines bien prtotegees. Belles vues. Ce n est pas la plus belle Dordogne à mon sens et les points d intérêt sont au moins à unre heure de route. Le proprietaire m avait assuré que le tennis serait un peu réhabilité mais cela n a pas été le cas. ”

“Absolutely superb to sum it up. We were there in a heatwave (4 days of 42 degrees) so Xavier brought extra fans and was always on hand to help. 9 adults. 1 teenager, 2 kids and a baby…. All were pleased with their stay! We used the air con unit from the top floor to keep the middle floor cool each night. “We are two families 4 adults and 4 children (age 6-10) and have recently stayed for 1 week at Chateau Madame. Our first view of the chateau was from its imposing position on the hillside which could be seen from several kilometres away basking in the evening sun as we approached. There is a 400m meandering drive up the hillside toward Chateau Madame that provides a secluded and safe setting. “We had a wonderful time at this location. Beautiful surroundings, a lovely castle, and a house with a pool. Upon arrival, a few things were amiss, and these were addressed and resolved immediately. So the service was very good. The location is good, 4* For a 5* review we advise the owners to do more in terms of maintenance.”

Quel endroit idéal pour être au calme, se ressourcer dans la nature mais aussi pour passer un moment de qualité à plusieurs. “We chose Château de Moncieux as the venue for a big family holiday - for our children and grandchildren. We were not disappointed. We were fortunate to have good weather and the pool was the focus of all our activities. There was plenty of space in the house for everyone to lose themselves when they wanted to and the lounges were huge and comfortable as wee the bedrooms. Victor, the caretaker, was very friendly and helpful when needed. An excellent holiday venue”
