“The property is a medieval castle and guest house set in peaceful and picturesque area. The property is obviously old and large and does require considerable upkeep and maintenance, and there were a couple of issues during our stay that were disappointing.The freezer in the main house did not work. When I reported this to the owner / management company I was informed they were aware of this fact but could not do anything about it during our stay. She was a brilliant host - giving us a tour of the property including the history - and helped me with ideas for an itinerary for our trip.We had 19 adults and 1 baby stay - the chateau was even better than pictured - incredibly beautiful, all the rooms were clean and well appointed, and the facilities were great for hosting such a large party (kitchen utensils, pool towels, bbq etc.).
