“We stayed 1 night at Econolodge Smiths Falls and can safely say we would not return. The positives, staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable but we did have to ask for extra pillows. The negatives, the hotel is in desperate need of renovation, peeling paint, cracked bathroom sink, enamel on bath cracked, no fan in the bathroom, carpet ridges and stained. “The breakfast was good, a typical hotel continental breakfast. The hotel was okay, when you have no other options, it works. The walls are extremely thin, you can hear everything from the hallways and surrounding rooms from the inside of your room. The pillows were horrible, we made it work by using double the pillows. As a hotel just to sleep, it was fine.”

“They told me it was a non -smoking room however, when we went into the room is smelled of smoke. They said they could not provide me with another room because they were fully booked.
