Tranquil Guest House with Private Patio, Parking

Welcome to our newly remodeled guest house with private fenced patio, dedicated parking through alley access, business class Internet and wifi 6 coverage perfect setup for work from home or staycation. Centrally located in the heart of downtown Lancaster, walking distance to the BLVD coffee shops, and restaurants, movie theaters, and minutes away from Hwy 14 entrance!

We are committed to make sure your stay is enjoyable so please don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything!

This is a cute 400sf remodeled standalone guest house with private fenced patio. It offers a well stocked kitchenette with brand new appliances, luxurious modern furnishings, ductless AC/heater, 55" smart TV with spectrum TV services, fast mesh network WiFi (~450Mbps), comfortable memory foam queen bed, etc. Keep in mind, the guest house was built in the 50s, so we have updated all electrical, plumbing, floor, ceiling, windows, fixtures, laundry room (separate entrance), etc. However, we still have the original shower stall, door and the original wood paneling to compliment the old farmhouse feels.

The house will be professionally cleaned before each stay with clean linens, toiletries, and everything else you'll need for a comfortable stay. Laundry access is only available for guests who stayed for longer than a week, booked multiple stays the regular basis.

You will be able to self check-in with smart lock, but please confirm your reservation and checkin instruction and ask any question beforehand, especially when you plan to checkin really late - we might be at sleep.

An unique virtual key will be generated automatically for the duration of your stay. The key will be valid starting at 3:00pm of the check-in date and expired at 11:00am on the check-out date.

To ensure we have a safe and secure place for everyone staying with us. Your door will be automatically locked in 30 seconds. The property is equipped with video surveillance 24/7 around the perimeters of the house. Make sure to put down the correct number of guest who will be staying with you in the reservation and informed us through the app if there are any changes in advanced.

Please note, you will be sharing the backyard with guests from the main house. We will ask everyone to respect the privacy of others, no outdoor activities during the quiet hours. Finally, our backyard is still work in progress, we are currently planning on the dream outdoor space. You might occasionally see our landscaper come in and work on the yard on the weekly basis.

Good, could be great

Cute little guest house that was relatively clean. Host has listed that there were smart keypads but there was only lock boxes. As well the "kitchenette" was slightly different than listed and no smoke detector could be found in the building. While overall it was clean, there was a noticeable amount of mold/mildew on every wall in the shower due to no exhaust fan. And all the walls/baseboards looked like they hadn't been given a wipe in a long time. Lighting was also not the best with just the overhead fan light, a very dirty switch for the kitchenette hidden around the wall at head hight.Oh and we found a single dead roach on the last dayOne problem was that there seemed to be a construction project going on at the property at the same time, which had work going well into night time hours

Money Partially Refunded

After arriving late in the evening and realizing the location was undesirable but continued to the space that clearly had been created decades ago or with the scraps of a demolition project, the state of the bathroom was unsettling with hairs and obviously not wiped surfaces and an in scrubbed toilet, not to mention the shower door with splatter and grime along with more hairs. The last guests dirty underwear in the drawer was the last straw and I did not stay that night or feel comfortable returning. VRBO would not refund my money stating it was a minor issue resolvable with the owners,who had not responded until later the next day, close to the 24 hour cut off. They refunded a portion of my money, but for the low price, I guess I should have known better. Lancaster is not a stellar town to stay in, Palmdale is the better choice!

It was great for a place to sleep, but not to relax at. Shower was very small and not well lit. Yard area in front was great, but when you entered the back where the stay is…it was a big dirt patch.

Easy check-in and stay

I spent one night here while travelling through California. The inside is nice and reflects the pictures, but the outside was full of cigarette butts - which I do not want my dog getting into.

The outdoor spaces were overrun with weeds. There were spots on the bathroom wall. No instructions for WiFi. And I was shocked to see black bed sheets!!! I've traveled the world and it is common practice for all hospitality entities, whether it's a cottage or a luxury hotel and everything in between, to provide white bedding so that the guest can be assured that they are clean and freshly laundered. No guest wants to sleep on black sheets, there is no way to know if they are clearn

Hidden gem!

The pictures and description are accurate. The studio room has everything that I needed to be able to work and be comfortable. I was able to park on the street and felt secure and safe. The host was very attentive and I will stay there next time. What I liked the most was the privacy and that I was able to let my dog out in a gated area.

Excellent stay!

We had a great stay. Two of our guest didn’t show but, it made it a little more cozy for us. The place was very clean and just as pictured. Location was close to groceries, fast food and freeway. Loved that it had a hot plate and toaster oven. We didn’t use it but, it also had a keurig and instapot. Great T.V, fast Wi-Fi, and, the host responded quickly when messaged. Will definitely be saving this place to my favorites

Awesome cozy place to stay!

Where can I start, there was so many good things that we enjoyed by staying at this property. We loved the size of it the cleanest of the place and also the property was at a short distance from where I had my conference this year. Overall 5 starts!
