Weekend at Doc's Cottage

We had a great time staying at Doc's cottage, watching the sunset from the front porch and falling asleep to the sound of the waves. Great location, fantastic local bakery and restaurants.

Great location but needs some TLC

Great location! This place has so much potential with more upkeep (i.e lawn instead of sand in backyard). To be honest it’s all a bit run down. Aldo the front bedroom is also the only one with aircon so the others get quite warm.

However unfortunately for us we were unaware that the annual dawn service was being held across the road. So, especially as the walls are not brick, it was a very early wake up on our holiday. Not what we were expecting or wanting. The beds were comfy and the house had everything we needed. The neighbours can also be a bit noisy.

The property was clean and in a great location, but it is an old house that is in desperate need of repair. Its tired, very tired and the gardens have not seen a gardener in a very long time. To say that it doesn't resemble the online photo's is an absolute understatement.
