It was easy to get to civilization within 20-30 minutes if you wanted it. And the park was easily accessible. Chris was very responsive and eager to share any recommendations for food or hikes. If you’re looking for quiet comfort and some open night sky this is the place”

“My son and I just wanted a night away - to spend time together and to check out the stars and planets with his new telescope. Hartsville did NOT disappoint! We had so much fun and literally ran out of time with all the great things in store. I felt like I was zapped back in time to the 1970's (or further!). The location was easy to find, safe to park and gain access, and from the get-go we simply enjoyed ourselves. We played pool - 8-ball and 9-ball, sifted through and played the many LP's...
