“L’hotel si trova in posizione molto comoda per spostarsi a piedi nel centro di Ottawa. La cucina è un po’ datata, ma è comoda e funzionale e c’è tutto il necessario per preparare pasti semplici e veloci.
Letto e cuscini confortevoli, camera ampia e nel bagno c’era anche lo specchio per il make-up.
Il personale dell’hotel è stato molto cordiale, in particolar modo un ringraziamento a Laura della reception per la sua disponibilità.
Il parcheggio è un plus.

I love the proximity to the ByWard Market, with dozens of dining options available in a short walk. I can't say enough about the staff. They were genuinely helpful and friendly at every point of contact - even if you were just sharing a brief elevator ride with them. We will definitely stay again.”

Only, minor, issue I feel I could report is that the lights in the bathroom are very dim, making it hard to shave precisely (there was a magnifying mirror, but that got even less light).
Definitely looking this place up first should I get back to Ottawa.”

“We had a wonderful weekend at the Lord Elgin. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Only complaint would be that the outlets on the night tables, did not have the amps required to charge our phones.

"La zona intorno all'hotel pessima (senzatetto, drogati ecc), ma è un problema comune a molte città canadesi. A 5 minuti di strada si trovano però il ByWard Market, il Rideau Canal e Parliament Hill. Qui ci sono tantissimi negozi e ristoranti. L'albergo dispone di una bella piscina e di una palestra ben attrezzata al quinto piano. La nota dolente è la pulizia. Il pavimento della suite era molto sporco già al nostro arrivo e nessuno, a parte il cambio biancheria, ci ha proposto la pulizia della stanza, anche a pagamento (non ti sistemano neanche i letti, non puliscono stanza e bagno e non c'e neanche l'occorrente x farlo da soli). In compenso le suite sono molto grandi e dotate di lavatrice e asciugatrice. Divano letto assolutamente scomodo per dormire
