“The good: The staff was super friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy though the bedding was super thin and threadbare.
The bad: the room was not clean. There was hair, dried soap drips and a ring in the bathtub, the tv screen was smeared with some kind of grease and the floors were gritty.
The ugly: the mattress slid off the frame when we put my small suitcase on it, requiring us to pull the bed away from the wall to put it all back together. The wall behibd/under the headboard was...

“Beautiful view of the ocean. Saw sea otters, bald eagles, and I think even a seal or two. Clean comfortable beds. Very quiet. City bus that takes you to downtown Qualicum Beach if you don't have a car. Very kind and helpful staff.”

“I couldn’t check into the Spot, but after 4pm I didn’t get the details so I called the contact number. They said housekeeping was behind so they offered an upgrade at a nearby hotel. It was nice and had a view of a harbour.
BUT the next morning I’m woken to the sound of the door being unlocked. THERE WAS NO KNOCK! No one saying “it’s housekeeping”. It was a quiet rattle of keys turning the lock. Im surprised it even woke me. I jumped out of bed, yelled that the room was occupied as the door was...
