“We stayed for four nights and were upgraded to a Deluxe room which is 32m2 (same size as classic) on the ground level with pool view and outside seating area. Very comfortable king bed, small sitting area and a large bathroom. Shower is in bath, so may not suit everyone. Pool is very refreshing. There are about 22 sun lounges and we never had a shortage during our 4 nights stay. Very serene views of the river and limestone mountains in the background make it a very relaxing place to cool off...

“A wonderful hotel, where the welcome is as warm as the weather. Villa Maly is a fantastic Boutique hotel, with beautiful rooms and facilities and such a great place to unwind and relax. “The location was peaceful yet stunning. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The pool was wonderful and cleaned every day and had amazing views. The breakfast options were good and food plentiful. Hosts were always very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There's nothing that we didn't like, but our advise for anyone getting there from the airport or railway station is to get a tuk tuk, rather than a shared minivan, as our shared minivan dropped us off at the wrong side...

“1. Took a very long time to confirm the booking, the reception couldn't see any bookings from Hotels.com. 2. Room looks ok at first glance, but ALOT of dust and filth everywhere, only cleaned the most obvious places. 3. Got hungry around 21:30 and figured we would take our bike from the resort to the night market in Luang Prabang, to our surprise the gate to the hotel area was closed and it was not possible to get out.
