“The Mansion is a wonderful place to stay in if you spend some days in Denver. We enjoyed the city and we enjoyed sleeping there. The position is perfect for visiting Denver on foot. The structure is unique for its rooms, each one furnished with a very nice taste and very clean. We enjoyed very much the chats we had with Carl and Bailey, they are both super nice people and gave us a lot of good suggestions for our trip. “A great hotel, but I have to say that $64 a night for valet (There appears to be no self park) and the "Resort Fee" at hotel that is not and does not offer "Resort" level amenities is over the top. The resort fee is clearly because Denver/CO allows them to do it, so the hotel takes advantage of the opportunity to nickel and dime you for an extra $30 and change a night or offer you a price that is $30 a night less and then get you in the fine print. “Loved the balcony/patio. Staff was friendly. Would have been five stars, however, they slapped a surprise $100 on my credit card. They explained this was some kind of fee that is paid outside of Expedia. I had no problem with that, it would’ve just been nice to know and not find out by surprise when reviewing my credit card statement. I was told I should have been informed at check-in, however, I was not. I put my credit card down for incidentals, and there was no mention of any additional fees...
