The common area has field guides, atlases, and all kinds of information to enhance your stay. We'd spot amazing wildlife and then try to find them in the guides. “This place is a hidden gem! The rustic cabins are well maintained and clean. A short walk from the cabin and you arrive at the restaurant where the food is amazing and reasonably priced. The hosts were so nice and helpful, making suggestions for our hikes and other options for dinner (although we ate on site 4 times it was so good). Our kids miss Lucky and Domino and wanted to take the puppies home :-) I would definitely recommend!”

“Our family spent two nights relaxing and exploring the rainforest. The staff and ground were wonderful, food was good, and room was all we needed. We scheduled one excursion on our own (Sensoria) and used the property manager for another (Cathedral Falls) both exceeded our expectations. The guides were great with adults and children. We would recommend and would come back if in the area again. We drove ourselves. The roads are managble, but would recommend giving yourself plenty of daylight...

“The Lodge was spectacular and the staff friendly, professional, and helpful. Within hours of arrival, they knew our names. The room was large, private, clean and very comfortable with a large deck overlooking the rainforest, a huge bathroom and our own private hot tub. We did many activities through the lodge (hiking, yoga, night walk, bird watching tour) and the guides were excellent. The food was delicious and very fresh. Each dish was beautifully plated and generous. 5 stars!”

“Beautiful, serene property. Very nice host and hostess. Loved the waterfall hike. It was the highlight of our trip. We were there by ourselves and could swim. If you’re into exploring and not a resort travel style this place is fabulous. We came here from JW in Guanacaste and loved this more than the resort. Clean and comfy. Breakfast was delicious and tastefully served. Be mindful of the hike though. Not super easy. Hiking shoes , poles and certainly water shoes, towel, and water are a must. ”
