“We had an incredible stay. The ocean views from the property are amazing!!! Both pools were clean and the room was spacious. One pool with a slide is more for kids, the other pool is regular- great for swimming. We got lucky because there were no other guests while we stayed but even if more rooms would be occupied, it would be ok because there are plenty of lounge areas for guests. “Fantastic location, five minute walk (maybe less) from El Tunco beach. It’s a new property and they’re still doing work. The rooms are as simple as it comes but I didn’t come to sit in my room. The pool and cabanas are great. The staff went out of their way for me, staying up late to allow me to check in at 11pm (I called ahead). Note that the shower only has one temperature, which is slightly cooler than air temp. ”

There were lots of tables and space to play and the hotel had great boardgames that we all enjoyed. The Tv, beds, showers etc were so comfortable and pleasant. We missed a mini fridge but apart from that it was a perfect oasis.”

“Bats and spiders; felt unsafe....This place has an amazing view and access to an incredible private beach. The hosts were attentive and kind. The grounds and rooms however are not well maintained. Unfortunately, we were not able to stay due to safety concerns sleeping in the room. We first found a huge spider on the wall just above the bed and then were startled by a bat that flew from just beside the bed up to the ceiling above the bathroom. ”
