Avoid! We stayed mid-Sept (2026) and were excited to try an adventure of a room 'in a pub'. It was a horrific experience and we departed early. We (3 women) had the courtyard triple room (#23). As soon as we entered the room, we noticed a dampness and a strong smell of mildew. We thought heat would help but the radiator would not turn on; we went to the bar staff (part of the problem is that there is no on-site manager to resolve issues) and the bar staff told us the heat is not turned on until October, and that they have no authority to turn it on. The blankets on the bed felt damp to touch. We had already paid up front (expedia) so stayed that night, The next day we found alternative accommodation (which was better for our health.) while having a shower in the morning, the water backed up to ankle-deep The drain was clogged and the entire floor was wet. Damp marks could be seen on the wall and it smelled mildewy. With no on-site manager/front desk/service personnel, problems are not resolved for guests. 'Check-in' is done by getting the key from the bar staff and they have no authority to resolve anything for guests. The overall property is quite dated and in need of maintenance; even the pub had a slight smell of urine. The only thing good about this is the location (very central). In the pictures, it is hard to see the damp marks on the wall, but the damp marks on one of our suitcases is easy to see (from sitting on the floor). It was the worse stay in our entire trip.
