This modern home offers fully equipped living spaces, entertainment areas and stylish furnishings.

With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a playroom featuring a fold-down couch, it accommodates 8 people. It holds many inviting areas including a cosy nook in the picture window, a sunken lounge, a deck, foyer and a desk space with a printer catering to traveling professionals.

Located minutes from the city with views of Arthur, Barrow and Ben Lomond mountains, it provides a warm and relaxing retreat.

Space

Arrive at this stunning residence and be welcomed by the convenience of off-street parking. Make your way up the interior staircase to discover a modern and sophisticated retreat.

Enter the beautiful foyer, where an open and inviting space seamlessly connects each room. Find the expansive kitchen and dining area, along with a charming sunken lounge. The space offers an effortless indoor-outdoor experience through expansive sliding doors which lead to a lovely deck. Here you can bask in the sunlight, relax or enjoy a tasty BBQ.

The home is naturally warm, bathed in morning sunlight, and features a fully ducted heating and cooling system for added comfort. Experience the warmth in the cosy sitting nook beneath a picturesque window.

The second lounge room serves as either a family fun space, equipped with books and games, or a remote work area with a dedicated desk space and printer for a comfortable working environment.

Discover three dedicated bedrooms, including two queen bed bedrooms, one with two single beds, and a sofa bed in the second lounge room, providing versatile sleeping arrangements.

The two bathrooms, strategically located on the opposite side of the house, ensuring your privacy. One serves as an ensuite to the main queen bedroom, featuring a spacious walk-in shower, while the main bathroom boasts a walk-in shower and a luxurious bath for a relaxing soak after a long day.

The Neighborhood

Newstead is located southeast of Launceston city, 7 minutes from the centre of the city. Characterised by a beautiful mix of well-manicured 20th century weatherboard homes, an array of solid red brick homes, along with the integration of spacious modern homes and designs The suburb has a great little shopping precinct including a coles, hairdresser, post office and boutiques.

Make your way down to the ever so popular Abbott Street, located in East Launceston. This street is often bustling with locals in the mornings and on weekends visiting some of Launceston’s most renowned cafés, shops, and a beloved gourmet gourmet grocery store.

Launceston City is just a stone's throw away. Here you will find many delicious cafés and restaurants, an array of shops and boutiques, a vast range of cocktail bars and pubs and many amenities and recreational spaces. The City Park is not to be missed, surrounded by beautiful oak tree gardens, you will find unique and fun experiences to enjoy such as train rides, a playground for the children, a plant-filled conservatory, and cheeky snow monkeys.

Whilst in the CBD, make sure to visit the Cataract Gorge. A spectacular natural formation where you can enjoy long and short walks, fresh water swimming basins, the world's longest single-span chairlift and vibrant peacocks! An additional, unique way to experience this attraction is via the Tamar Cruise vessel, which cruises through the waters that carve between the rocky formations.

To get the most out of your stay, to be able to explore all that Launceston and its surrounds have to offer, a car is recommended. Additionally, there are many alternative options listed below:

METRO BUS SERVICE: Metro bus service provides transportation throughout Launceston and its surrounding suburbs each day. To access timetables, routes, and prices, please visit the Metro Tasmania Website.

FREE TIGER BUS: The bus travels around the city. There are bus stops located nearby outside Princes Square Park and the Launceston General Hospital. It is easy to spot – painted with the black and brown stripes of a Tasmanian Tiger! For timetables and routes, please see the Metro Tasmania Website (Free Tiger Bus).

INTERCITY BUS SERVICE: Tasmania has you covered with a variety of intercity bus services to make your city-to-city travels a breeze. If you're in the North West region, which includes Burnie, Wynyard, Devonport, and more take a peek at the 'MerseyLink' bus service website for their timetables. If you're heading to or from Launceston and the southern spots like Hobart, make sure to swing by the 'Kinetic' website. Please note that 'Kinetic' has you covered for some routes to and from Devonport as well.

ELECTRIC SCOOTERS: You will find purple electric scooters scattered around Launceston. To access these, please download the App ‘Beam’. Please wear the helmet provided and be safe!

BIKE RENTAL: Roll Cycles at 145 Wellington St, Launceston offer bike rentals with options to suit most riders. Whether you are taking a leisurely stroll around town or taking on our world-famous mountain bike trails, Roll Cycles have you covered.

UBER: Uber is a popular form of transport used by many locals and tourists. To use, simply download the ‘Uber’ app on your phone and book a ride to your destination.

AIRPORT SHUTTLE: The airport shuttle service can be found on the internet.

Notes

We have a gardener who will attend this property from time to time. It is unlikely that he will attend during your stay; however, if he needs to attend the property during your stay, we will notify you.

There is an internal staircase that you will be required to climb to reach the living areas and bedrooms.

Please note that the driveway can be tricky to navigate for some as it is on quite the slope. Please note that you will need to walk down a portion of this to reach the homes entrance and may prove difficult for some. There is additionally free on-street parking available.

There are security cameras affixed to the homes exterior. These are located at the front of the house, the side of the house and on the deck and are on at all times.
