“We hadn't had good reviews for this hotel chain. It was our first visit and it changed our perspective on the hotel. Overall, the hotel is fully booked, the rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff's service is superlative; Sarah and Colin will make your stay sublime. The only drawback of the hotel is that it's 10 minutes from restaurants, although you can eat at the hotel restaurant, which is fine. It's also worth mentioning that the city center is a 14-minute walk away.”

“The stay at the hotel was disappointing. Staff is either understaffed or disappearing somewhere as you continuously had to wait for someone to show up at the front desk or at the bar if you wanted something. The room was relatively clean but the corridors are dirty, no sign of hoovering. It’s okay if you are on a tight budget but if you can spend more then try to book something else.”

“This was just an overnight stop, but I would recommend the hotel highly. The room and bathroom were excellent and the bed was very comfortable.
The self service buffet breakfast was very generous
Such a shame that the owners can’t operate the bar/restaurant anymore due to energy costs. ”

“We arrived late and Night Porter was very accommodating
Food was first class
Rooms were spacious- a couple of niggles with the water temperature and the rooms weren’t soundproofed so we could hear people walking up and down in the corridor
Apart from that - I’d recommend and would stay again”
