“We stayed at Eden for 3 nights & it was beautiful. The staff are all super friendly & helpful. The food was lovely. Breakfast was a little limited on choice & coffee not great but everything else was great.
As some one else mentioned the price advertised does not include tax so you pay more when the bill comes. But it is a small Island & understandable food & drink is going to be more expensive . I hope the Island remains it charm for many more years to come. ”

“Hvis man leder efter det uspolerede backpacker sted er dette sted det! Oplev ølivet som for 20-25 år siden i Thailand. Ingen Ungabunga. Hængekøje, palmer og easy living. Er du til fest og farver til den lyse morgen, så tag et andet sted hen. Her er det familieejede sted med små hytter ren originalitet. Må det forblive sådan, så man også fremadrettet kan finde tilbage til rødderne!”

“Oct 2025 - be warned that they are building a pool (which will be amazing once completed!) but is currently a building site so very noisy during the day. Also your view from a ‘sea view’ villa will be very compromised!!
The staff were very understanding and sorted an alternative day to the other side of the island on Lazy Beach (which is beautiful!).
Clean room, good breakfast, right by the jetty for ferry. So much to like if it wasn’t for the building noise!
Shame that no one seems to bother...

“We were here in December, prices for the rooms are by far too high with regard to the quality , on the “private” beach construction works were under way, nice and and willing staff ( reception, restaurant) , but extremely slow service in the restaurant.”

“Ottima posizione sul promontorio per godere della vista del tramonto e fuori dal "trambusto" del centro (anche se chiamarlo "centro e trambusto" è un po' esagerato vista la dimensione della baia).
Le camere private sono disposte su due corridoi (4 alloggi per parte) ed hanno pareti in legno - comunicanti e con tetto unico - pertanto c'è ovviamente privacy e rumori sono presenti. Le camerate sono al piano inferiore e sono all'aria aperta disposte lungo i corridoi,
Il bagno in camera è davvero...

“Our villa was wonderful, large spacious room. The staff came twice to our villa to carry out housekeeping. The Royal Sands Koh Rong certainly has an eye for detail and think of everything a traveller needs. We are very glad we stayed here. Special mention to Kean and Sela who were amazingly welcoming and assisted with all our various queries. Sela booked us a car to pick us up from Sihanoukville pier to our hotel. The Royal Sands made our stay on Koh Rong perfect!”

“I got bitten by bad bugs. That's all!
The service is generally very poor. The staff doesn't speak English. The amenities of the resort are not maintained properly (we had a rice plate in the pool bar, a bit of food falled on the bar and it stayed there for the whole length of our stay - 5 days).
At the moment of the check out, the staff charged the bar expenses on our credit card twice and we are still fighting to get the money back.

“Best location on Koh Touch beach. We had no.19 wooden detached bungalow right at the front with garden and sea views.
Beach area was cleaned every morning and plenty of sun beds. Quiet area but only a couple of minutes walk to restaurants and bars.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and made sure that we had a great stay. ”
