Texas A-Frame

2020 build set on 20 acres! Enjoy watching free roaming white tail and Axis deer in the Hill Country. This wonderful wooded area enables your friends and family to enjoy the outdoors in the shade. The A-Frame is located in the best place for cruising around the Scenic highways of the Legendary Twisted Sisters. These roads take you to your favorite State Parks, vineyards, local hiking or Frio River spot.

We had a great visit and enjoyed staying at the A-Frame house. It had plenty of cooking utensils, coffee maker/Keurig, games to play and the kids loved the upstairs loft. The house was clean and communication was great with the host. We'd stay at the A-frame again. Bring your own linens.

We loved the Texas A Frame property while visiting Garner Park. A perfect glamping spot only 10 minutes from the park, but nestled away on 16 acres giving you all the camp ground feels. Also, a great little corner store a few blocks away well equipped with all food/camping needs!

Property was clean and tidy. I will note that the lack of bedding is not obvious in the listing which is why I deducted a star in my overall rating. It's listed in a caption of a photo instead of in the main body description. There is also limited seating by the fire pit, which I would have brought camp chairs for if that had been clear from the photos. There's ample seating at the two picnic tables on the patio but only 3 chairs for the fire pit. Otherwise it was a lovely property and we enjoyed our stay.

Everything was wonderful about this property. Off the beaten path, private, quiet, nature all around. WiFi still strong. Although 2 pins were provided, neither got us all the way to the property. Need more specific directions to the actual house. Also a little odd that no towels or linens (linens were provided once we ask during off season only) were provided - although that may be standard for the area. Overall very happy with our stay. Host was very communicative. Provided us with River and trail recommendations as well as restaurant recommendations. Thank you tot he hostess

Get away on the Frio

This spot is great if you are visiting the Hill Country for a float on the Frio or a hike in Garner State park. You bring your own linens and towels but everything else we needed was there. The hosts are super helpful and communicative. Would stay at one of their properties again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely perfect!

Such a beautiful and spacious cabin that is extremely conveniently located just a stones throw from all the shops in Leakey.We stopped at the H-E-B in Uvalde before we got to the cabin for all the food for the weekend and had ample space for cooking and grilling.It was so peaceful at all hours of the day and really just a wonderful experience.It was about 10 minutes from the river float shuttle we had booked at Happy Hollow, and only 15 minutes from Garner State Park.

Perfect Getaway

When I arrived at the cabin it was spotless & just as pretty as the pictures! Rick was a great host, who responded very quickly to any questions I had. I highly recommend booking.

Private and convenient

Peaceful and private location. Conveniently located between both state parks. House was super cute and clean, which is rare when staying with pets. Great for families or groups.

Garner Park Spring Break

The house was as pictured, clean, perfect for our stay. Great location with lots of privacy and close to park. Our time was spent more outdoors and at park but came back to comfortable beds and warm showers. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and serve food and drinks. Fire pit was nice at night and played horseshoe and other fun outdoor games.Only suggestion: Would suggest bringing fold out chairs if want to watch TV with all guests with your party. Limited to futon and wood chairs from kitchen table. Would recommend staying here and would definitely stay again.

More than we could have imagined

It was so much more than I could have imagined. The location is ideal for either GSP or LM and the amenities were excellent. We spent most of the day time at the parks, but our evenings consisted of relaxing at the getaway. Dinner on the outdoor charcoal grill was amazing and the fire pit was a perfect ambiance for the nighttime hill country. I should also mention breakfast on the stove with a light fire going outside was mint. Would definitely recommend for a secluded getaway.

Amazing! Beautiful!

The beauty of this cabin took my breath away. Impeccable taste. Very private, Very clean and has everything you need to cook and eat. Loved the Campfire at night with no one around. Peaceful and quiet. Location is close to both Garner State Park and Lost Maples Nature Area. I will be back. They also have another location they built that holds more people. I am going to try that one too. A wonderful host.
