“I cannot fault the way the apartment is 'kitted out'. There was everything you needed even down to disposable slippers. Nice to have heaters for a very cold night and morning. The shower is great with an overhead rain shower. The owners always responded immediately to any questions I sent which is good. My only tiny criticism is that there was an overwhelming smell of very pungent air fresheners but obviously, most people wouldn't find that a problem. I would definitely recommend this...
“Breakfast at The Lock was lovely. Our room was very clean and had a great view of the canal. It really close to many places to eat and just next to the station. This is the second time we have stayed here. ”
“The hotel is in great location, close to many entertainment venues. If travelling by car there are many parking facilities close by, however the hotel should communicate any "deals" they have with parking facilities before you arrive to allow for registration of you vehicle.”
“Well positioned hotel- in the city centre but not noisy at all. Big comfy bed and the air conditioning was great. It was very clean and the bathroom pristine. Tea and coffee in the room- but no fridge. Didn’t try brekfast but good value to have it included for 2 for the price. Also coffee machine in lobby to use when you liked. The young woman who checked me in was really helpful and friendly. Parking£10 a day- not bad compared to other £20/30 charges elsewhere.

“Excellent trip. Staff were all friendly and chatty. A couple of niggles, but nothing that affected our stay. We will be back again and will stay here again to visit our daughter. Special mention to Dave, the Head concierge who we chatted to each day and was really helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him. ”

“Very quiet location considering how close to all amenities and the high street. Well presented property and very friendly staff. The room was very clean and comfortable. A nice touch was during breakfast we were asked if we’d like to take some fresh croissants home with us which we did. ”

“In breve:l'area reception dell'Hotel era un cantiere con squadre di 6/8 operai che smontavano pavimenti e pareti, posavano pavimenti in resina ed ovviamente facevano rumori e polveri mentre i clienti transitavano o facevano colazione. Mai successa una cosa del genere!!! Addirittura un giorno la reception, dal mattino alla sera, è stata smontata e spostata provvisoriamente in un'altra postazione. Sul cibo e sui tavoli della colazione arrivava inevitabilmente la polvere proveniente dalle...
