Guest house a Leinster

“I had an okay stay. The location of the apartment back behind the main building was unexpected. Not bad. But walking outside to get to the bar or back around the bar to get to my car was something I would have preferred being more aware of ahead of time. The TV didn’t work properly (sound but no picture) and the WiFi didn’t reach the room, so I had to walk down the dark alleyway to the bar to use the WiFi - it was to late in the day during a one night stay to try contact anyone to fix these...

“Very quiet and comfortable room and welcoming staff. The lively pub served great food, and breakfast the next morning in the restaurant was very good.”

“We had a lovely stay at Firecastle. Kildare is a magical area with lots to do and see in walking distance. The room we stayed in was beautiful and well appointed, breakfast was delicious and the staff were all really nice. I highly recommend Firecastle.”

“Avoid! We stayed mid-Sept (2026) and were excited to try an adventure of a room 'in a pub'. It was a horrific experience and we departed early. We (3 women) had the courtyard triple room (#23). As soon as we entered the room, we noticed a dampness and a strong smell of mildew. We thought heat would help but the radiator would not turn on; we went to the bar staff (part of the problem is that there is no on-site manager to resolve issues) and the bar staff told us the heat is not turned on until...

“Clean, newly renovated rooms. Very friendly staff. Good food.”

“Camera grande, ben arredata, romantica, pulita. Letti comodi. Struttura d'epoca ed elegante. Scale e salottino comune bellissimi. Tè caffè e biscottini sempre disponibili. Personale molto disponibile.

Pane fresco, yogurt, cereali,...

“Tutto ok. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. La gente di Tullamore splendida e ospitale.”

“Very nice place, close to the see but also to Dublin”

“Posto buono in centro a Kilkenny”

“Irish hospitality at its best.Dinner and breskfast were excellent the staff helpful and knowledgeable and the room spacious and comfortable.”

“Buonissima sistemazione, comoda e confortevole. Stanza ampia, facile ceck-in, ottima posizione.

Interni puliti e ben arredati.
