“Superb break away, in tranquil setting, great breakfast Good sized rooms”

“Room was clean and fully equipped for a quick morning coffee which is helpful. Staff was nice and check in and out were very smooth. The only problem is that room isolation is not very good so we could hear noises from the outside and inside the property late at night. Would recommend irrespective of it. ”

“Positive: Clean room and comfortable bed Very good breakfasts Negative: No hot water for the whole 5 days I was there, though promised each day. Shower attachment broken so a (cold) shower was only possible by holding the shower head. The stand of one of the fans was broken The wifi in the room did not work Evening meals were not available as stated on the website - MUCH more limited menu than on their website and not available on all the evenings stated. “Pros Really lovely property, clean and lovely decorated and we really enjoyed our stay. Slight niggles Outside light on arrival would be helpful (as after 4pm it’s dark this time of year). The only thing I would change is to leave by 11am instead of 10am but it’s just a slight niggle.”

“Nice property in a good location.”

“We loved our stay at the Bell. Very comfortable and friendly with great facilities.”

“We had a fantastic few days away at the wentworth. Our room was over the road in villa/annex, very quiet large room with a lovely large bathroom and shower. Lovely little courtyard garden. The breakfast was very good. We a one meal in the restaurant which was amazing. Overall our stay was excellent and would we will definitely return. Would highly recommend”

“We had a comfortable overnight stay (very comfortable bed!). Having been to a wedding reception that day, we didn’t want much to eat, but found just what we wanted, even though the menu is not extensive. The food was good and the fish and chips are obviously a popular choice, and looked delicious. Breakfast was good. Staff very helpful and friendly.”

“Used the spa - staff in spa were lovely. Though two masseuses. both my partner and I booked the same treatment. We had completely different experiences. Both half hour one finished after 20 mins and one was full half hour. Lunch with the spa - the spa man who was lovely had to serve it. The restaurant staff refused to do anything. Didn’t clear plates nothing. 4 tables in there and 5 staff stood behind the bar talking ignoring my presence for a few minutes, I left and returned and when I asked...

“Neil and his team were perfect hosts. Our room was spacious and comfortable and spotlessly clean. The meticulous attention to detail, wonderful breakfasts and very friendly and helpful hosts made our stay memorable. Thank you all. Michael and Linda”
