La “Sua Africa”, apartment within a historic country villa near Ivrea

Independent apartment within a historic country villa situated in Lessolo at the foot of the Chiusella Valley, about 45 mins outside of the Metropolitan City of Torino, 45 minutes by car from some of the most beautiful ski landscapes in Italy (Valle d’Aosta, Monte Bianco), and 10 minutes from the Medieval town of Ivrea, which hosts one of the most famous carnivals in Italy and beautiful lakes (e.g., Viverone,
Sirio, San Michele, Alice, etc.). Perfect location for those who are seeking to relax surrounded by silence, nature, local food, and beautiful hills. Excellent for travelers who love sports (e.g., biking, running, swimming, walking etc.), excursions, and adventurous hiking trails. Also great for groups of friends looking for a place to gather and have fun.
Resembling a historic castle, the house is about 600 square meters (roughly 6500 square feet) and distributed over three floors. Guests would occupy the third floor, which features five bedrooms, one with ensuite. All rooms have recently been fully renovated and are extremely spacious and bright, with beautiful views of the garden and swimming pool (front) or the valley (back). All rooms have windows and are equipped with hangers and shelves for storing suitcases. All rooms are equipped with 24H unlimited Wi-Fi connection. Each room accommodates at least two guests, one with the possibility of adding extra beds (up to four people).
The house can accommodate around 8 (max 9) people in total. The range of bedrooms is as follows:
- one with two single beds;
- one with one double bed;
- one with one double bed and a sofa-bed accommodating two other people, ideal for a
family with kids (note: this bedroom has television);
- one with a king-size (extra-double) bed
- one with a queen-size bed (note: for this bedroom the bathroom is on another floor)
- two bedrooms share a common bathroom (also fully renovated) and all guests have access to a common space with a fully equipped kitchen including stove, fridge, sink, dishwasher, microwave, plates and cutlery. The kitchen includes a big table and chairs where guests can sit to eat, relax, read, and watch television. Guests have 24h access to the rooms through a
private entrance and stairs. Guests have also access to other common spaces such as a charming historic library (located on the third floor), the big terrace situated on the second floor, and the new gym situated on the first floor.
Guests are also welcome and encouraged to make the most of the outdoor spaces featuring a big courtyard, a big garden with plenty of flowers and fruit trees (e.g., grapes, olive trees, apple trees), a wide swimming pool (about 19x6 meters, or 62x19.5 feet), and a surrounding private park. Free parking is available on site (in the courtyard).
We have 2 beautiful dogs, so unfortunately no other animals are allowed.
No parties, no music and shouts allowed after 10.00 p.m and before 10 a.m.
