Costruito nel 1893 come la Lewisville School House, ora è stato trasformato nella Newhouse Family Inn. Abbiamo 2 camere da letto con bagno in comune e 1 camera da letto con bagno privato. Avrete pieno accesso alla sala comune, alla zona pranzo e alla cucina. Siamo a meno di 60 miglia da Indianapolis e dai suoi numerosi locali come, lo stadio del petrolio di Lucas, l'autostrada a motore di Indianapolis e la casa di campagna dei banchieri. Meno di un'ora di macchina per l'aeroporto di Indianapolis. Siamo sulla storica National Road (40) e nel mezzo del vicolo antico.
La camera blu ha un letto matrimoniale con bagno in comune, la sala della scuola ha un letto matrimoniale con bagno in comune. Entrambi al primo piano. La camera Rose si trova al secondo piano (senza ascensore) ha un letto matrimoniale e bagno privato. Abbiamo appena aggiunto una camera aggiuntiva che ha un letto matrimoniale, un divano letto queen size e un divano letto. Ora possiamo ospitare fino a 11 ospiti!

We came to the area from Washington State for our aunt's 100th birthday in nearby Knightstown. This home was perfect. My 85 year old mother found the bed very comfortable, and the house was stocked with everything you would need. John was so responsive and pleasant. We would recommend this home to any family, and feel grateful there was such a nice place so close to the birthday party!

Pretty good stay, would give higher rating if there where no locked doors in the bedrooms leading to other parts of the house. Who is gonna feel safe leaving children in bedrooms like that? These same rooms are great for adults though.

The hosts thought of everything to make this place special … bottled water, hand towels and slippers, tea and oatmeal, festive decorations everywhere, spices and kitchen extras, and sweet little homey touches throughout. The host was exceptionally kind. We will definitely seek his properties out for future stays to visit family!

We were visiting my younger sister who just purchased a condo in New Castle so we wanted to stay nearby. My mom traveled with me and my two kids (5 and 13). The house was perfect as my mom had her own space and we could all spread out. Everything was well stocked and the kids loved the games. My mom enjoyed the bedroom with the attached bathroom. Definitely a perfect place for future visits and big enough to bring my husband and other sister along with too. Thank you!

My wife, teenage son, and I have visited many Vrbo properties, but this one stands out for its charm and the property manager's attention to detail. The photos of the interior don't do it justice; every room - including the kitchen - is filled with memorabilia that seems plucked from a movie set. (The difference is that these items are authentic rather than staged.) Additionally, the host's attention to detail is wonderful - there are instructions and courtesies everywhere, down to water bottles placed on both sides of every bed. We had a wonderful stay, and look forward to returning.

The Newhouse Family Inn was a perfect place for our family of 6 to gather. We especially enjoyed the well stocked kitchen - coffee and bottled water were appreciated! Books, games, DVDs, robes and slippers were a nice added touch! Quick communication with the owner made the process easy. Thanks for a great stay!

The history behind the house is very unique and interesting. Slippers, robes, and bottled water were a very nice touch. As well as the games and books. We were in town for the basketball tournaments going on at the New Castle high school. The house is just a short drive and fit our needs perfectly.

Loved this beautiful place , plenty of room for a large family. Books to read games to play nice big beautiful yard quiet area kitchen well stocked coffee , bottled water. And the history of the schoolhouse just amazing I would recommend this place and will love to stay again in the future

The property was nice and spacious. Check in and check out were easy and the host was great. Answered all questions. Coffee supplies and bottled water along with breakfast treats if so desired. The reasons I did not give the property a 5 for cleanliness is there was some leftover items in the fridge from previous guests. It needed to be wiped out as there were some crumbs and stuff. I also wiped down one of the sinks the mirrors as they had some leftover residue on them. Over all not bad but just needed some fine details cleaned up.

A beautiful relaxing spacious antique home that feels just like home when you walk in. The owners were wonderful to communicate with and had everything ready for us. The kitchen was Stocked well with dishes and pans and the coffee bar was a special treat! We came for a funeral and having a home for everyone in the family to enjoy was comforting. Thank you for sharing this little gem!
