“Room was very clean as was the bathroom. It had everything you needed and it was all clearly labelled. Kingsize bed was really comfy. Curtains were blackout so no light got through. Situated in a lovely quiet area so there was no noise throughout the night. Throughly enjoyed the room. Had no issues are complaints. ”

“This was one of the worst nights stay we had, even for £34 I don’t recommend staying here. Location wise, it wasn’t bad if you drive. Cleanliness was something to be desired. The place stunk, really fowl like sweaty socks. Beds were noisy as hell, doors very squeaky, paint coming off the wall, dirt on the walls, shower filthy, bathroom stunk, holes in the floor boards, the list goes on. “Clean room, old furnitures and the carpet makes room smell of humidity and old. There is a grocery store not far and at walking distance the stadium. Rooms are noisy, you can hear when the water pump waters in different rooms and the street accross”

“The only issue we’ve experienced about our stay was the cleanliness issues. The whole place could do with a deep deep clean and small touch ups. I believe no matter how much money you pay, you should be able to stay in a clean environment. Apart from the cleanliness, our stay was great. The staff was great and helpful. Fridge was a fantastic bonus. We haven’t used other facilities like dining room etc but I know that was available. No safety on the windows, my son is 5 so he knew not to go near...

“I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA! The hotel obviously has all the charm of such an old place and would be awesome for a romantic getaway (although I was traveling alone on this trip!). There is lots of parking, which is free.
