Centrally located fully equipped oceanfront beach cottage. This is Hawaii at its best!
Our home is fully stocked for fun with board games, body boards, beach toys. We also provide free beach towels, chairs, umbrella, cooler. FREE airport shuttle, wifi, A/C each room, parking, laundry.

Relax on the beach, walk to restaurants and shops. Enjoy the sunrise and sunsets on the beach or from your private lanai.The views from the kitchen, living room and lanai are spectacular — unobstructed ocean, bay, mountains, sunsets, surfers, stand up paddle boarders, and even seals, sea turtles and dolphins.

Walk, stroll or run along one of the most popular sandy beaches in Kauai, Kalapaki beach! It's protected waters are ideal for swimming, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, snorkeling, sailing and outrigger canoe paddling. Volleyball courts and palm trees line the crescent shaped beach.

With a sandy, gently-sloping ocean floor, Kalapaki beach offers phenomenal swimming for all ages. When the ocean conditions are right, it’s an excellent spot for beginners to bodyboard and surf.

The home is located between the 2 finest resorts in Kauai, the Timbers Kauai Resort, and the Royal Sonesta Resort. The proximity to the resorts allows for many dining options from casual to fine, as well as massage and pool services.

Golfers can take advantage of discounts at adjacent Timbers Resort golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus.

The perfect spot

My wife and I, along with our oldest son (19 years old) stayed at this property last week for 5 nights and we absolutely loved it. The owners were easy to communicate with and did a great job of making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. They went above and beyond!! The location is great and the beach is a quick 5 minute walk down the hill. It wasn't crowded and my wife and I could literally watch our son boogie board from the back porch of the home. Lot's of good restaurants nearby too.

Incredible View

This VRBO is great. The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning and you are just a couple minute walk to the beach. Also a couple minute drive from the airport but you don't hear any planes in the VRBO at all - the location is a huge plus. Besides the view and the location, the VRBO itself is very nice - plenty of room for 4 with a nice primary suite (bathroom attached) for 2 and then another room with two smaller beds for another 2 people, there is also a futon in the living room. There is a washer and dryer in the unit if you need to do laundry too. Parking and entry/exit of the VRBO is very easy. Lastly, we arrived 24 hours late to our stay due to an issue with flights, but the host tried to do everything possible to make our stay as enjoyable as possible which we very much appreciated. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay. We recommend it to anyone and hope to be back in the future.

Could hear waves crashing!

This spot has an excellent view of the ocean. It sits on a cliff overlooking the bay. I loved sitting on the balcony and watching the water and the sunsets. It is a short walk down to the beach area with access to restaurants. There is a king size bed and regular twin beds. There are two futon type sofas in the living room that would only work for smaller kids in my opinion. They aren’t very comfortable to sit on while watching TV. The kitchen was well equipped and the laundry area was quite helpful! The two full bathrooms were nice. Of note- this isn’t a stand alone house. It’s an entire separate bottom floor in a 3 story house. There are steep stairs leading down to the entrance, so it wouldn’t work for someone with mobility issues. Overall, it was a great ocean get away!
