“The property is 100 yrs old and still operating successfully We got to meet the locals”

“The room its self was ok, bed was comfortable but there are things to be aware of. Hotel is from 1901 and not totally renovated yet, rooms are up stairs which are original. Doors are half doors, again original but I’m big had to remove back pack to enter. Biggest bath is NOT attached, it’s yours with a key but it’s across the hall so you need to dress to use it. It also closes sort of early, I just barely got in at 9:30.”

“The room we stayed in was tidy and clean. It had a fridge, microwave and kettle which is very convenient especially if you’re doing road trips. They also offer some breakfast items at the reception before you need to go to room which again very convenient. ”

“Although the room was small it was laid out well but no space for putting your bag if 3 people stayed. Only room for the 2 chairs around the small table but table and 2 chairs provided in the small space outside. No room for large vehicles. Exit locked so only easy exit to use is the Entrance onto a busy road which has traffic lights.”

“Too many uninvited room mates stay with me. Ants on my bed (lucky had two beds in my room). The biggest noisy ine is cricket in my room as well. I was too tired to find it. Make the noise almost all night. I have no choice as I was self late check in. It was not a good experience after 12 hours drive, ”

“Discreta la posizione, accettabile la pulizia degli ambienti, disastrosa ( OK, spetta agli ospiti ma un controllo sarebbe necessario) la pulizia delle stoviglie. Carino il quotidiano al mattino davanti alla porta e il rifornimento ( non previsto) delle bustine di caffè. La piscina è minuscola, adatta solo a bambini. “Lovely hotel. Usually a dog friendly room is the worse room, but we have no choice. Here, it was a beautiful room, renovated and clean and very spacious. Best dog friendly room we have stayed in. Thank you for treating us as responsible pet owners. We dont take rooms that allow pets for granted, we know it’s a privilege but we also pay a premium for these rooms. At last a hotel where the premium was worth it. ”
