Great race weekend

Went for a race at Talladega. Very close to the track, but nice to retire to a peaceful place at then end of the day. Gary was kind, welcoming & easy to work with.

Cute camper

Beautiful view of the lake in this camper and the price was right. But, coming & going through tricky gates and dealing with several dogs was not ideal when carrying luggage or groceries.

Lake Getaway

Due to schedules, our family trip was broken into 3 types of stays. First it was my 9 yo son and myself. It was very comfortable for us. Gary was very accommodating by setting up a cot for my son. One night it was late and I couldn't get the oven to work, I called Gary and he was there asap. He couldn't get the oven to light, so he took it and made it for us. We had a hot pizza 20 mins later. We had a great time paddleboarding, catching lightning bugs, and swimming in the lake. Then my son spent the rest of the stay with his Oma and Opa. My husband joined me for a couple of nights when he had some time in his work schedule. It transitioned into a quiet romantic getaway for us. The rest of the time I was by myself. I felt safe and comfortable being there alone. I enjoyed paddleboarding in the morning and all the great hiking places close by. All in all it was a great getaway for us all and i would definitely return again.

We needed a place to stay for a high school fishing tournament and it was in the perfect location.

The specific cabin we stayed in needed a toilet upgrade other than that it was perfect for what we needed. Mister Gary was very accommodating and pleasant. By the end of the week he was almost like family. The pier was perfect for my granddaughter and myself to play in the water while the others fished. I’d stay there again.

Lake Views, Fresh Air

This is a property that will not work for everyone, if you are use to a luxury environment this is not it. If you want to fish, enjoy lake views, jet ski, enjoy camp fires, read, relax and do some self introspection this is it. Not a pamper yourself type of party. Now on the other hand the Host Gary is magnificent and extremely responsive 5 Stars all day, he truly cares about your stay. Goes above and beyond the call of duty!

Quick stay

We had a wonderful experience here. We were on a longer trip and stayed the night here and it was wonderful. We got in much later than we thought and Gary was awesome to work with and there were no issues. Very beautiful views from the screened in porch and super comfortable bed!

I did not realize this location had two rental properties. The other property was also rented at the same time as mine. I did not feel safe, not knowing who the other occupants were. I did not feel that my rental had adequate security.
