“The hotel is a located inside a converted house. Everything looks very traditional, complete with low ceilings, sliding doors, mat covered floors and futons. The dorm slept four, which I though was tight, but it seems to work well enough that I slept quite well both nights. My futon had two layers and although I like a firm mattress, I did think it was quite sore on my back the 1st night. Common areas include the kitchen, cafe and lounge. “ドミトリーが初めてなので心配していましたが、スタッフの方はとても親切で、建物も古民家の趣があり良かったです。古い建物なのでどうしてもドアの開閉音、階段のギィギィ音などがあり、神経質な方は止めた方がいいと思います。案外カーテン1枚でも自分の空間が保たれて良かったです。”

“Excellent place to stay. The gentleman at the hostel offers pick up and drop services from Yudanaka station, Snow monkey park and some onsens in Yamanouchi. Although he speaks only Japanese, he uses a translator and tries his best to communicate with you. We will be staying here again when we come back.”
