The room was excellent. The staff and their attitudes made me angry, especially when it wasn't called for. It took a half an hour to reach anyone by phone before I checked in. In fact, I had to call the 800 number to get them to help and it still didn't work. When I finally got there, no one was at the front desk for nearly 10 minutes. When she finally showed up, she had a mouth full of food as she tried to apologize. Then suddenly, for no reason, she got inexplicably quiet and less than cheerful. I don't know if something happened, but it sure wasn't me. She handed me my key, offered no info on the hotel itself and sent me on my way. I had to find the elevator on my own. Later on the late shift person was just as uninterested in me as a customer as the earlier person was. Once again, the hotel was excellent, but I hope the staff will leave whatever angered them away from the place of business. As I checked out from my 2 day stay, that particular morning staff was more receptive and even asked about my stay. I mentioned my dissatisfaction and they did offer an apology. I will stay there again because I felt very comfortable at the facility, but people need to know how easy it is to nearly ruin a person's day with a careless attitude.
