“Expedia acts as an email intermediary between the guest and the user, and if their application doesn't work properly, you have major problems because the guest can't contact you, nor can you contact them. It was a challenge, but we were able to solve it without Expedia.”

“Walked in later after an emergency , my husband staying in VGH.. told the check-in clerk…she gave me one night and no discount. Ended up back and finally got a discount with the same clerk 3 days later. Got screwed over the weekend”

“The hotel rooms were very comfortable and amenities like a full kitchen as well as a washer/dryer in the unit are a great feature. The staff were friendly and responded quickly. Unfortunately, the area around the hotel did not feel safe. I witnessed drug use on the sidewalk as I walked on the street next to the hotel. This was during the day.”

“Room was clean. Daily cleaning. Staff always smiling and helpful. Very close to everything so you don’t even need to buy a metro/bus pass. You’ll be able to walk to Gastown, downtown and waterfront.”

“The location is excellent. Room is spacious with comfortable bed. The guest services people were very helpful, in a no-fuss sort of way. Low key but Efficient. Had umbrellas for guests when raining.”

“The property was beautiful and the staff extremely helpful. Not only were they helpful, but sincerely friendly and gracious. The location was good and the room so comfortable. My only criticism, is that the connected casino waives parking for guests spending $50 for the night. The hotel charges $55 a night. I wish I had known that since I had been playing at the casino nightly. When I asked them if they could honor this, the answer was a very polite…NO.”

“There is an issue with the temperature in their steam room and sauna. Spent 20 minutes in their sauna with the temp on max and barely broke a sweat. Disappointing that it wasn’t working properly.”
