Rustico, ma incredibilmente bello, tranquillo e sereno! Il sogno del Colorado! SAUNA, HOT TUB, FUOCO!
Siamo molto più vicini dei Red Feather Lakes, dove le strade non sono a volte curate e pericolose.
Questa non è una stanza all'interno del posto di qualcun altro. come la maggior parte degli altri offrono. Questa è la tua cabina di 148 anni molto personale, privata, storica e completamente ristrutturata. Non sentirai nessuno tossire, starnutire o scuotere le padelle per preparare la colazione!
Sappiamo che apprezzerai la nostra casetta ristrutturata di 148 anni con le migliori viste da questo lato delle Montagne Rocciose! Mentre cenate fuori dalla nostra West Sunroom con 8 x 12 vetrate, ammirerete la Mummy Range e il Rocky Mountain National Park. Abbiamo costruito questa stanza pensando agli ospiti!
Le sistemazioni sono molto confortevoli con un letto Serta matrimoniale nella struttura Aspen, forno a microonde, frigorifero di dimensioni dormitorio, sauna Finlea all'interno della cabina, Majestic Twilight Master Spa (vasca idromassaggio) a pochi passi e anche 3 buche per il fuoco! Belle aree dove sedersi, guardare la vita selvaggia, gli uccelli o le escursioni!
L'attività celeste di notte senza lampioni è fenomenale. NON è raro vedere piogge di meteoriti e stelle cadenti durante il vostro soggiorno. C'è anche calore e aria condizionata se ne hai bisogno.
Niente di stravagante, ma appartato, privato, pulito e bello.
Vieni via da tutto con noi!

Nessuna TV, videoregistratore o lettore DVD. ma ottimo WIFI satellitare AD ALTA VELOCITÀ se hai bisogno del tuo dispositivo.

Solo pace e tranquillità per downtime e supremo relax. Scollega i suoni del nostro ruscello, gufi dalle corna grandi, coyote e natura. Il "suono del silenzio" è veramente un lusso al giorno d'oggi.
FULL GOURMET colazione servita per le prime due mattine alle 8 a. m. nella nostra bellissima veranda principale! Eggs Benedict e Eggs Rancheros sono garantiti per essere i migliori che tu abbia mai avuto visto che sono un cuoco gourmet. Sono anche un CMT, quindi puoi prenotare anche un massaggio! Sarà il mio massimo piacere ospitarti!

Dream vacation to unwind and de-stress

Breathtaking location. The family that owns the property are extremely friendly and offer a wide variety of amazing suggestions and add-ons to the package. The cabin is truly something spectacular and is extremely comfortable.Me and my wife had an absolute blast enjoying the scenery in Colorado and getting to come back and relax at the cabin and take in all the stargazing.We will definitely be going back in the winter for another couple's retreat. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to get away and unwind for a little bit.

A cowboy getaway

Wow!! Where do i start? From the time we requested the place to booking the cabin it was so easy. It was a geataway we hoped for for so long. We got to the cabin and the place was so rustic and dated to our liking. The farm was with chickens and a horse and the views were lpriceless. Thank you.

Nice place

I liked staying at the tranquil homestead. It is on a very pretty property, though about 25 feet from main home. The sauna and farm setting there were an awesome experience. The sparsely furnished cooking items were camp clean. I was surprised that I needed to clean flies out of the coffee pot, for example. The cabin itself is a mix of old and new, so hard to nail the feeling created there. It's cozy and charming in it's own way. While I enjoyed our stay, I thought it was quite expensive and was rubbed the wrong way the surprise mandatory insurance on checkout. I also wasn’t a fan of the numerous disclosures about what not to do as a guest, that creates a bit of tension in trying to enjoy the experience.

Adorable Cabin

This was an ADORABLE cabin located on gorgeous property. The cabin was even better in person with all the fun accents. This was exactly what we needed and the ease of checking in/out made it even better. Thank you for sharing your space.

Beautiful

The cabin was nice and homey. Karen and Al were so friendly and were the first thing we were greated by after a 12 hour drive. Karen was very helpful over the phone answering any questions I had. Other than that I did not see much of them. There property is beautiful and I'm so glad we got to see it when it was raining as it made it even more a rare site for city people like myself and my partner. The hottub was a nice thing we used every night to relax after site seeing every day. It over all was a very relaxing and peaceful stay and I could not have asked for anything better.

Cozy cabin with peace and quiet, wonderful hosts who anticipate your needs. Not to mention a sauna and then a hot tub with a clear view of the night sky. Perfect for our honeymoon!

Amazing Getaway!

We live in Loveland so this was a short weekend getaway for our anniversary. We had so much fun! The hosts are amazing and so accommodating. They had a beautiful breakfast spread for us and the hot tub was extremely clean and comfortable. The cabin is cozy, warm and clean. The bathroom was excellent with all the accommodations you could ever need! The 360 views are INCREDIBLE! Pictures do not do it any justice. Do not hesitate to stay here! We already can't wait to go back. Thank you Karen and Al! We will see you soon!

Beautiful stay!!

So thankful for this stay! For someone to open up there home and be so kind, what an experience. Couldn't ask for a better vacation. Being a nurse and my husband military this was peaceful, I have told friends and family about this place. So if you want coffee with a view an amazing egg Benedict, like shopping with amazing food, and a beautiful hike. It seriously has it all!

Breathtaking views and first class hospitality, can’t wait to go back again

Karen made our visit very simple, very easy, and incredibly enjoyable. We just needed a weekend to get away from all the day to day tediousness and recharge our batteries. We are already making plans to go back in the spring or very early summer…. Cross Creek Ranch is spectacular and we greatly appreciate Karen sharing her home with us for a couple days. Nice relaxing country cabin.

We were in the area for a wedding and choose to stay at the cabin for a little seclusion and relaxation from a hectic family wedding on a different ranch. It was nice to come back to the peace and quiet of the property and use the jacuzzi. The owners are very nice pleasant and were spot on with the breakfast recommendations for Verne’s in LaPorte.

Awesome place

We loved this cabin and we are glad we chose this one . Amazing area , we took a day just to go out and explore on bicycle the area and was so peaceful and relaxing just to go and seat on the few waterfall that Karen and Alan told us witch are super nice and very helpful host and Im glad we met them also . I had totally forgotten how beautiful the ski looks at night away from every street light . It was hard to get out the bed in the morning since the mattress were so comfortable. This was exactly what we were looking for a nice cozy cabin that we can just get away and enjoy a nice relaxing peaceful weekend . I just wish we could had stayed more days but I definitely will go back very soon . Thank you for everything Karen and Alen you guys are super . Hope to see you soon

Wonderful Stay in a Historic Cabin - Cross Creek Ranch is a Quintessential Colorado Experience

Cross Creek is such a beautiful ranch with tremendous views of the mountains, wonderful peace and quiet, and great amenities to enjoy. The lands itself is awesome, with the views all around, wildlife in abundance from Pronghorns to songbirds and birds of prey, Such beautiful sunsets. The night sky is particularly dramatic at this site, free of city lights. The hot tub is a very nice feature, located just a few steps away in the courtyard of main home. The sauna, located within the cabin is very nice to have access to as well. A brand new shower has been installed - great to cool off after the sauna. I had a good nights rest in the comfortable bed and I really enjoyed the eclectic western décor throughout the cabin. The hosts provide an outdoor barbeque which I took advantage of. High speed Wi-Fi is another useful amenity. I had a chance to visit with the hosts - a wonderful couple who very much enjoy sharing their beautiful land. There are several interesting hikes to do at the ranch and the ranch is also a great location for excursions to Fort Collins and the Red Feather Lakes area. All in all, a great and memorable experience with such wonderful hosts. I will return to Cross Creek Ranch soon!

Quaint but not secluded

While this is indeed a lovely and historic cabin, the listing does not make it clear that it is QUITE close to the house of the owners. In fact, the hot tub is not next to the cabin at all but by the house of the owners. My husband and I were really looking to get away from other people so this was disappointing. Maybe other mentioned this in their reviews, but it's really something that should be made very clear. The sauna was nice, but it's so big that there's no real place to sit and relax. Also, this cabin is in no way "remote" like the listing leads you to believe. Other than that, our stay was fine. The owners were very nice and even mailed my laptop cord that I'd forgotten back to me afterwards which I really appreciated. Also, the current Colorado fires are extremely close to this location so we couldn't see the stars, but that's nothing anyone can control. However, renters should realize there are fires very nearby this location as of September 2020. Overall, it was a very cute and quaint (if overdecorated) place, just not what exactly what we were expecting.

Slightly Disappointed

Both the grounds and the cabin were not as tidy or clean as expected. The hot tub was not clean either. The owner was very sweet so I actually hate writing this. We didn't stay the second night because it wasn't worth the drive out to stay there. I feel like I wasted money that could've been spent on a better place. There was not hot water in the very tiny shower.

Perfect romantic weekend getaway

From the moment I booked, Karen ensured we had a fantastic stay - from sending excellent directions, to providing recommendations for food, and of course hosting the MOST delicious breakfast imaginable. The cabin is as described, small and rustic - cozy and romantic with a big comfy bed to spend a whole weekend in. We watched bunnies hop around the property, strolled down to feed and pet the horses, and basked in the silence the property offers. In only a weekend we could feel the stress of the hustle and bustle of everyday life wash away. And a few nights in the hot-tub looking up at the stars didn't hurt a bit! Can't recommend this enough for a quiet romantic getaway.

Definitely Going Back!

The entire package was absolutely wonderful! The cabin is so quaint and cozy and the bed was super comfy! Karen is a fabulous hostess and made my partner Jennifer and I feel so welcome. The atmosphere of her little B&B was warm and inviting with amazing views of the mountains! After an amazing breakfast, Karen gave us a tour of the main home, and I can tell you I could've stayed for hours looking at all the home had to offer and hearing the stories about how it was built! Then we were off to feed her horses! This trip was planned just to be a relaxing getaway, but we plan on going back to walk along the trails right off the property. If you're looking for a quiet place to get away, get grounded and recharge, this is the place. An evening in the cold dark night out in the hot tub was just what we needed and you could swear you've never seen so many stars! Karen was so sweet and even gave us a couple welcoming gifts! And did I mention she's an amazing cook!! I was a little leary about breakfast, but was very pleasantly surprised at how good everything was! We are looking forward to going back real soon!!
