About this space
Beautiful 5 bedroom custom built mountain home. Enjoy the beauty of nature and the 360 degree Mountain Views from one of the three balconies. Cuddle up on cold nights in front of the wood burning fireplace or catch a movie with the family in the 12 seat movie theatre. Love to cook? Enjoy using the gourmet kitchen stocked to cook a meal to enjoy with your whole family at the 14 ft custom dining table. Enjoy a walk on one many hiking trails around the home .
The space
Bedrooms :
1. One downstairs bedroom with full sized bed
2 . Three upstairs bedrooms are with queen sized beds
3. Three twin sized beds, one full sized daybed , and one futon in upstairs loft .

Property :
Beautiful rustic mountain property that is frequented by many different types of wildlife .

Balconies:
The first balcony is on the main floor and wraps around the home . A beautiful custom built porch swing is located on this balcony . Hummingbirds frequently feed off of the feeder on this balcony . The second balcony is off of the master bedroom where you can enjoy your morning coffee on the outdoor dining table . The third balcony is off of the loft .

Movie theatre - A twelve seat professional style movie theatre with a projection system and surround sound is located in the downstairs . A kitchenette with a hotdog and popcorn maker are located just adjacent to the theatre

Fireplaces - A wood burning fireplace is located in the living room and a gas fireplace in the master bedroom.

Bathrooms - Two baths and one half bath. The master bath has a stand alone tub and large walk in shower with granite seating .

Playhouse - A two story playhouse located behind the house for children to play

Kitchen / dining - Large gourmet kitchen stocked with all supplies . Breakfast nook and large 14 ft custom made Aspen table available for seating guests .

Laundry - Large laundry room with washer and dryer

Lackluster stay.

The house overall is clean and very nice. We arrived during a heat wave. The house does not have A/C. There are water cooler fans, but they did not make sleeping comfortable.Of the houses we considered we went with this house due to the theater. We thought if inclement weather, or after a long day of hiking, the theater would be a great option to end the day. On the first night we attempted to use the theater following the handwritten instructions. Nothing happened. After multiple attempts and web searches we messaged the host. Twelve hours later no response so we called the maintenance phone number. They were unable to assist with the theater but did get ahold of the host. The host replied roughly 24 hours after the initial message. Roughly 72 hours after the initial message the host sent a neighbor over. The neighbor was able to get it started. The message projected on screen specified the bulb was past its 3k hour life. Later that night we attempted to turn on the projector and it again would not project. Unit and fan turned on but the bulb did not throw light. Host replied to the message stating if it continues to act up will have the neighbor come back, or could overnight a new projector. With what time we had left the project would not be delivered and installed for our family to enjoy. We were fed up with the theater and did not spend more of the vacation fixing the house. Recommend asking the host about theater before booking.

Perfect!

The Eight Pines Mountain Home was perfect for our extended family visiting Fort Collins for CSU graduation. The house is spacious with plenty of room for people to spread out. We cooked several meals there and found the kitchen to be well equipped. The house was very clean and the beds comfortable. The views from the many windows are spectacular. We loved our stay and highly recommend this home.

Family Vacation in March

We had a wonderful time here! The home was clean and everything was labeled for quick finding. We had a slight mishap but Nicolette was super quick to help us out and was incredibly personable in our interactions. The neighborhood was quiet and everything we needed was within a 10-15 minute drive. We would absolutely stay here again the future; I definitely recommend this home to future guests!

Magical Christmas!

I rented this home for Christmas to spend with my kids and grandkids. It was just perfect! Very clean, plenty of room, and close to local stores to grab what we forgot. The theater was a huge hit with everyone! The owner had it decorated for Christmas so we were ready to celebrate! Probably the best stocked VRBO I've stayed in! Nicolette was very responsive and helpful! We all decided we will definitely be back!

Family Get Together

Great place for a group. Loved the open floor plan and big dining room so we could all be together. Beautiful home and beautiful views. Also loved the theater. Communication response time was excellent. Would highly recommend it. Thanks for sharing your home.

Beautiful home for a get away and making memories!!

Absolutely loved this home and the area!!! We did name the home “Stairzilla”, obviously because of all the stairs, but that was expected with it being a 4 story home. When you walk in you feel like you are at home and not some rental. The home was clean and very well taken care of! This home is beautiful inside out! Our group was 5 adults, 1 teen and an 18 month old and our pups and we all thoroughly enjoyed the home!! It was amazing to have all of the baby items there so we didn’t have to bring everything with us! Of course our 15 year old stayed in the loft and spent many hours in the theater, watching movies and playing on his phone. The theater was a huge bonus and we definitely took advantage of it, along with the popcorn popper!! Also, they had a larger selection of movies, kids and adult, to choose from along with the ability to stream movies from our phone. I would recommend this home to anyone who is ready for a place to sit back and just enjoy your time with your family or friends! Nicolette was amazing to work with and was very accommodating for us!! Thank you again Nicolette for hosting us!!

Beautiful house

Everything was really really nice, ample space for my family. Loved the theater. We watched home movies and had a great time! Kitchen was great, plenty of bathrooms. Can easily accommodate 10 ppl. Will definitely go back!

Amazing house

Went to Livermore CO for our son’s wedding & the venue was right down the road from our stay. The house had so many amenities that made our stay wonderful. Sleeps 10+, large bathrooms, amazing media room & a large kitchen. I would rent it again!!!!

Perfect spot for team retreat!

Five of us were up from the Uni. of Denver for a retreat. The house was easy to find and the perfect size to accommodate us all in our spaces. We were able to screen a documentary in the theater, had everythting needed to cook, and were a short drive from Red Feather Lakes. Host was delightful and highly communicative, definitely recommend!

Beautiful House and Location

Beautiful house and location for are family group. Wildlife can be seen just sitting on the balcony. Lots of indoor and outdoor space for are group of 10. Off the main highway but easy to find with excellent accessibility. Area is quiet.
