“Very clean, there was a microwave and toaster in our room. The only thing that wasn’t very good is the lock on our door , not very secure .”

“Lovely room with great bathroom. A bath and separate shower was a treat. Plenty of hot water and fluffy towels. WiFi was good and nice decor. Staff were pleasant and was lovely to be able to converse Welsh. Location was handy for lots of places to visit. Defo hope to be back”

“Generally a good experience, but with reservations. A hotel of character, much nicer than bland city tower blocks, but ready for overall refurbishment. Very un-green: no double glazing anywhere I saw. Room cleaning skimpy - glass shelf over sink always left unwiped, tea provisions not topped up adequately, bath not wiped round. “The “spa” and “gym” were a hot tub and a dark room full of miscellaneous junk which wasn’t conducive for relaxing.”

“Great location in Barmouth and useful to have a free car park within easy walking distance. Our room appeared to be recently decorated to a high standard with some nice touches like good quality coffee and water supplied. Just to beware that our room was on the top floor and required us to walk up a few flights of stairs although we were offered help with luggage. The main negative for us was the breakfast.
